Like Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton's phone was hacked. Now the model/actress is planning her next move following the incident that led to nude photos of her being leaked online.
Kate's attorney, Lawrence Shire, released a statement to ET on Monday, saying, "This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton's privacy. We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible."
The FBI gave the following statement to ET: "The FBI is aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is addressing the matter. Any further comment would be inappropriate at this time."
This isn't the first time that celebrities have been hacked for their personal photos.
Scarlett Johansson, Mila Kunis, and Christina Aguilera were all hacked by e-mail. A Florida man named Christopher Chaney found their naked images in e-mails from November 2010 to October 2011 by resetting their e-mail passwords.
After pleading guilty to wiretapping and unauthorized access to a computer, Chaney was sentenced to 10 years in prison on December 17, 2012. He also was ordered to pay $76,000 to the victims.

Alleged nude photos of Kate Upton and boyfriend Justin Verlander were leaked online Sunday as part of a massive celebrity photo leak.
The alleged nude photos show the Detroit Tigers ace and supermodel girlfriend naked in a bathroom standing side-by-side in profile with the mirror. Upton, who has twice appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit edition, is seen holding up a cell phone which she used to snap the pictures. Verlander’s bare bottom is visible in both photos, while Upton’s is visible in one and covered by Verlander’s hands in the other.
Upton and Verlander first met while shooting a commercial for MLB 2K12 in 2012 and began dating soon thereafter . The two refused to confirm their relationship in 2012, and it seems like they broke up at some point later in the year or in early 2013. But the two got back together and began making numerous public appearances together at the beginning of the year. Upton has also gone to watch many of Verlander’s games this season.
Neither Upton nor Verlander have addressed the nude photos. Upton did not tweet at all on Sunday, while Verlander has not tweeted since last week. Upton stated in a recent interview that she would not get naked because of the negative backlash from blogs and social media.
Numerous celebrities have been victims of the massive leak, with some confirming the authenticity of the photos and others saying they are fake.
According to BuzzFeed, the photos appear to have originated on a 4chan forum where they were posted by an anonymous user. The user claimed to have obtained the photos through an iCloud leak and was offering to sell them for bitcoins. A master list posted by the anonymous user indicated they had photos and/or videos of around 60 celebrities.
The most prominent target of the leak was Oscar Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence, who had several nude photos hit the web. Her representatives confirmed the authenticity of the photos and threatened to prosecute anyone who posted or spread the photos.
Other celebrities allegedly victimized by the leak include Kirsten Dunst, Teresa Palmer, Becca Tobin, Jessica Brown Findlay, Krysten Ritter, Lea Michele, Ariana Grande, Brie Larson, Ali Michael, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Victoria Justice. Athletes McKayla Maroney and Hope Solo were also alleged victims of the leak .
Justice claimed the pictures of her were fake:

Winstead confirmed the authenticity of the photos while lashing out at the hacker and those who viewed her photos:

Earlier this week, a post started on 4chan claimed a wealth of celebrity nudes--a large cache in possession of a hacker who'd gained access to several celebrities' alleged personal photos—would leak on Sunday. Well, Sunday's here, the supposed leak has begun, and the internet is reacting accordingly.

The list of celebrities whose nudes are supposedly in this cache includes Jennifer Lawrence , Avril Lavigne, Kate Upton, Lea Michele, and McKayla Maroney, and several of them—the photos, not the celebs—have begun to show up on various message boards across the internet.
It's still unclear how the photographs ended up online, but an anonymous user began posting the images on 4chan on Sunday around 4 pm.
Posters on 4chan and Reddit claimed that the celebrities were hacked through their iCloud accounts, though that hasn't been verified, and the method is unclear. Posters on 4chan and Twitter who claim to have additional video s have reportedly been requesting bitcoin in exchange for their release.
One Twitter user, whose account has since been suspended, posted that TMZ was attempting to purchase a trove of photos, and the anonymous 4chan uploader specifically referenced the gossip site in a 4:13 pm post, writing "I'd rather you get them than TMZ."
TMZ are going to post nudes of like 20 celebs tonight. They are offering the guy who hacked the phones of celebs 6 figure sums to sell them.

Becca Tobin, an actress on Glee pictured decorating a Christmas tree in the nude, appears to have confirmed the veracity of the pictures on Twitter.

The risqué photos of these stars have been surfaced on Twitter.
Almost 60 images of Lawrence in explicit positions have been leaked on Twitter, whereas pictures of Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton were also leaked online.
The 21-year-old is the girlfriend of baseball pitcher Justin Verlander.
The topless or the underwear pictures of 'Hunger Games' star Jennifer Lawrence were also leaked on the social media, the Daily Star reported.
Lawrence 's reppresentative released a statement saying that this was a ‘flagrant’ violation of privacy. The spokesperson said that the authorities had been contacted and they will act against anyone who posted the stolen photos of the 24-year-old actress.
‘Spiderman’ star Kirsten Dunst's nude pictures have also surfaced online.
