Updated Rating Scale

100 - Personal favorites, most of which I have a real bond with; usually requires at least a few listens to qualify but it’s not like I actually follow that rule too often

97 - Better than a 95 but still not up to standards with a 100

95 - Pretty much like a 100 where I’m completely blown away, just without the extra listens, connections or enough of that wow factor that a 100 has

90 - Overall fantastic, but lacks either the OOMPH or consistency that a 95 has.

80/85 - Loved overall, would definitely listen to the songs here again

70/75 - Great, but probably won’t return to in most cases

60/65 - Good, or at least tolerated enough to still consider it as such

50/55 - Decent, but usually either too uninteresting to leave much of an impact or way too inconsistent

40/45 - Average, maybe a few decent songs but I probably don’t care in the slightest

30/35 - Below Average, very forgettable or borders on bad but oftentimes just ends up being really boring

20/25 - Bad, but something I’ll probably just completely forget about anyway

10/15 - Awful, especially the 10 score

5 - Painful, essentially the worst an album can get in most cases

0 - Reserved only for albums that are actively hateful

*Ratings ending in a 9 are albums I listened to a long time ago that I feel I especially need to relisten to in order to get a proper opinion. 89s especially are ones I expect to become a 90 or above after one.

Track ratings and whatever singles I rate will not follow this scale. Don’t expect the way I rate singles (if at all) to stay consistent.
