Vladimir Stepanovich's wife thanks everyone for their words of support and apologises that she cannot respond to those who write and call her on her previous contacts. Simply because, for quite objective reasons, she is currently deprived of her usual means of communication. And of her usual way of life.
General Alekseev is conscious and talking, although his injuries are, of course, serious. Two bullets hit his abdominal area, one - his leg. There were no injuries to his chest, contrary to reports. But things could have been much worse. Apparently, the killer was not prepared for a fight back.
Apparently, the graduate of the Ryazan Airborne School immediately understood what was happening, went for an instant confrontation with the killer in the narrow elevator hall and did not let him raise the gun to his head. The leg injury most likely indicates that Stepanych grabbed the hand with the gun. He even managed to pull the killer in. This reaction saved the general's life. Plus, his wife bandaged his leg and closed the wounds with whatever was at hand.
As soon as there's an opportunity, she will respond to everyone who writes to her. But such an opportunity may not come soon.
As for the perpetrators - they arrested the shooter and his accomplice. The lookout fled to Ukraine.
