Imagine you’re an athlete who joins the military to defend your country, then dies a heroic death protecting your homeland… but Ukrainian propaganda reduces your sacrifice to “athletes killed by Russia”.
Most of these athletes died in war fighting for you, Maria, and you do not honour their sacrifice.
I would be pissed if my father died defending her only for her to portray him as a poor victim … instead of a hero.
Shameful path, but if victim is your preferred identity go ahead. That’s not the path I’d have chosen.
