🌐 COMMUNITY RULES
Please read and follow the rules outlined below, which are designed to ensure the smooth functioning of our community chats. If you disagree with them, you are free to leave. Always remember that these rules are intended to maintain peace and a professional environment within the chats. They are not meant to dictate your behavior. We expect your cooperation in this matter. Admins will be enforcing these rules across all chats without exception. It’s advisable to read the rules before participating in our chat groups.
🗣️ Language
- Communicate in English only, unless the group is targetted towards specific region (e.g., our Indian Chat for Nothing & CMF community, etc).
- Speaking in multiple languages can create confusion and hinder smooth communication. It's about professionalism and universal understanding, not disrespecting any language. Please keep this in mind!
- If warned for using a different language, take it sportingly and switch to English.
- If majority of the members belong to a specific country it does not allow members to speak in any regional language of their choice. Our chat groups are aimed towards global audience and hence sticking to one universal language is expected and mandatory.
🚫 Prohibited Content
- NSFW -> instant ban.
- Advertising, spam, piracy, or hacks (Discussions related to Mods / Cracks / Suspicious apk or modules, etc).
- Sharing random apks / module zips out of nowwhere. ( We wanna safeguard your security. Imagine flashing a random module which bricks your device our of nowhere! Scary right? Share links to direct source / open source repos instead for by maintainer)
- Random posts from other Telegram channels (with links or tags). Forwards and telegram links are hence auto blocked across the chats. If you find any way to break this rule indirectly, warns await you.
- Spamming Phone cases / covers and etc links in chat all day. If you are repetedly spamming links to a particular brand case its treated as a kind of affiliate promotion / spam for that brand, which is not allowed!
- Websites with spammy links.
- Self promoting personal YouTube videos, channels, referral or affiliate links.
The scope of the above can vary depending upon the situation. Admins will use chat filters or instant chat deletion if not allowed. In some cases you might get friendly warns. Take it sportingly and avoid the same in future. But repeated breakage of rules will make warns or bans even stricter every time.
🛑 Sensitive Topics
- Avoid discussions on religion, politics, racism, or hate speech.
- Maintain civility and respect in all interactions.
🎭 Media Use
- Minimize the use of GIFs and stickers.
- Please not that in some chats stickers may be auto-deleted via bots within 5-10 minutes of sending, to keep the chat clean.
🤝 Respect Everyone
- Treat all members and admins with respect. Disrespect may lead to warnings or bans. If you do not like someone its fine, but be civil.
- Refrain from teasing/disturbing/bullying/abusing the admins in any form. This includes messaging them without permission unless absolutely necessary. Violations may lead to a Fed Ban (FBan).
🚫 Selling / Buying
- Our chat groups should not be treated like a marketplace—selling or buying items is not allowed.
- Examples: I am selling my phone. Contact me.. OR Is anyone selling their phone here? OR Sending random QR codoes for payment and so on.
📌 Reporting Violations
- Use /report (reply to the message) to notify admins of rule violations.
- Do not spam the report button, as false reports may result in warnings.
🔄 Conflict Resolution
- Resolve conflicts privately via PM/DM. Public arguments may lead to temporary mutes.
- Admins may issue warnings/mutes for trolling or disrupting discussions.
🔗 No Random Forwards
- Do not forward content from other Telegram channels without removing channel tags or links.
- We do not directly promote contents from random channels which are not under the Crosscrew Fed nor ask someone to promote ours as well.
- This includes sharing images / files with @ channel tag names, etc, aimed to indirectly promote a chat / channel not included in Crosscrew Fed repeatedly.
- If you wanna credit the source, caption the image / video / file with author name and not tg link or tags!
🧑⚖️ Admin Authority
- Admins aim to maintain a friendly environment and will take necessary actions to enforce the rules. Do not argue with them.
- Avoid creating alternate accounts to evade warnings or bans—this may result in a permanent fban (read ahead regarding it's consequences). But if you wanna be good and rectify your previous mistakes, we will overlook it unless the previous offense was too harsh!
🚨 Stay on Topic
- Please stay on topic within the respective chat groups.
- Avoid bringing up concerns about other devices or models in unrelated chats. Stick to the respective device chat groups. Slight discussions about other models won't harm but if you are excessively doing it, you can be given temporary mutes or the chat will be purged by the admins to keep discussions on topic without prior notice!
- Use the off-topic portal in CROSSCREW for unrelated chats.
🚫 UNDERSTANDING BANS / FBANS / APPEALS
⚠️ Consequences of Rule Violations:
- It's important to remove few rotten apples to save the whole basket! Only your good conduct saves you from this.
- 3 Warnings = BAN from the group by the bot.
- Severe Offenses = FBan from all groups managed by CrossCrew Federation.
⚠️ Bans & Fbans:
- A chat-specific ban restricts you from a particular group only.
- A Fed Ban is stricter and applies across all groups managed by @CrossCrew. This is issued by FedAdmins for severe or repeated violations.
💡 Appeals
- Being polite and making amends is the best way to rejoin the community. We are happy to welcome back those who show genuine change! 🤗
- Use CrosscrewSupportBot with a genuine apology. Give context about your violation or previous behaviour in detail for faster resolution.
- All Fbans are issued with proofs internally, so don't act as if you know nothing regarding why you got banned. It's always better to acknowledge mistakes and move, on thus rectifying them. No one is liable to send you proof for the same btw. Please contact only if you understand it.
- You can also PM/DM an admin with an apology to rectify your behavior. Some Admins don't prefer direct PMs, before taking a permission. Check their bio for support bots and PM/DM there instead if mentioned.
- Fed Admins won't revoke a fban/ban/warn issued by another admin out of respect for their decision. Reaching out to the admin who issued the ban/warn/fban is the best option in most cases. Keeping ego aside and sorting out stuff is the expected behaviour.
