Le temps où elle incarnait les ingénues coquines dans La Classe , sur France 3, est un peu lointain. Néanmoins, Muriel Montossey joue encore la carte du charme dans sa toute nouvelle création théâtrale, Œdipe à la folie , samedi 24 octobre, sur la scène du Cercle Laïque.
Le complexe d'Œdipe est revisité à travers un monologue écrit par le psychanalyste Joseph Agostini. Il nous plonge dans la passion charnelle et la tragédie. Muriel Montossey confie « s'être accaparée le rôle de Jocaste, qui est amoureuse d'un jeune homme. Éprouvant un véritable coup de foudre, elle se liquéfie dans ses bras et se rendra compte très tard qu'il est son fils ».
Muriel Montossey explique avoir mis beaucoup d'elle-même dans cette pièce, en particulier lorsque Jocastre est convaincu que son fils est mort, dévoré par ses loups. La comédienne rappelle avoir eu la douleur de perdre un enfant en bas âge.
Le thème de l'amour fou entre deux êtres d'âges très différents reste d'actualité : « Une femme d'âge mur peut très bien tomber amoureuse d'un jeune homme. Je n'ai jamais vécu ça. Je ne suis pas une femme cougar. Et puis, je n'aime pas ce terme qui, selon moi, désigne une femme qui veut à tout prix rester jeune ». Et Muriel ajoute : « Je ne pourrais pas être avec un jeune homme. J'aurais l'impression de faire l'amour à mon fils. Moi, il faut que la personne ait au moins une quarantaine d'années, avec la peau tannée ».
Muriel Montossey donne des cours de théâtre, à Dreux et à Paris. La comédienne explique que « des élèves ressentent parfois certaines choses lorsqu'ils jouent. Mais pour eux, le plus important, c'est d'apprendre. Il faut chaque jour apporter un petit quelque chose à la discipline que l'on aime. On finit toujours par y arriver ».
