Each year the University creates new catalogs for its academic programs. The catalogs cover the undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs of all five colleges.
In general, students must follow the curriculum rules of the program in which they are matriculated under the catalog in effect at the time of their entrance.
Notice and Responsibilities Regarding this Catalog
The University of New England reserves the right in its sole judgment to make changes of any nature in its programs, calendar, or academic schedule whenever it is deemed necessary or desirable, including changes in course content, the rescheduling of classes with or without extending the academic term, canceling of scheduled classes or other academic activities, in any such case giving such notice thereof as is reasonably practicable under the circumstances.
While each student may work closely with an academic advisor, he or she must retain individual responsibility for meeting requirements in this catalog and for being aware of any changes in provisions or requirements. The academic requirements that apply to any given student are the ones that were in effect when s/he began at the University of New England and were published in the catalog at that time.

Science Prerequisites for Health Professions (SPHP) courses are for students who wish to enter a health professions program but need one or two prerequisite courses in order to complete their graduate or medical school application.
Most of our SPHP students are either enrolled at another university already or have actually completed their undergraduate degree and just need one or two classes to satisfy their nursing prerequisites or medical school prerequisites.
