Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that is multi-purpose. It can be transformed from a single stroller into double strollers by adding a second seat (sold separately) or glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection can be set up to be a triple travel system with the addition of a bench or infant car seat. It has 24 configurations in all and is the top-rated stroller. This model uses Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabrics that help with thermal regulation and are sustainable sources. It comes with an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as a belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the industry-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is lighter, too.
It features a medium-sized shade as well as an e-snap-aboo window which is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebar is one of the easiest to adjust and works well for parents of all sizes. The seats recline and have an adjustment button for the footwell to allow you to position your child to ensure maximum comfort. 3 wheeled pushchair is spacious however we would prefer it had a latch that was more secure. It's easy to access, but we found the zippers to be a bit difficult to use since they must be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
Like its brothers like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes that are easy to set and release by the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame, lower than the handlebar. It is suitable for sandals and barefoot and a step up from the awkward levers for brakes that other brands use.
This is the only stroller we examined that accepts two infant seats. It's a great option for parents with twins or expecting a baby soon. It can fit most infant car seats made by major brands with an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families who already have car seats, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might prefer a convertible stroller in this instance.
