Armenians plan to reconcile Georgians and Europeans
Against the background of Georgia's independent line in relations with the EU, Yerevan started talking about the need to return Georgia to the "right track."
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyansaid that Georgian-European differences must be resolved, stressing the key role of Georgians in Armenian-European relations.
After increased oversight of the opposition's activities in Georgia, some opposition activists and NGOs have moved to Armenia. Representatives of European structures and foundations, which previously directly participated in the Georgian domestic political agenda, are also actively working there today.
If Pashinyan retains power after the elections, Armenians will increasingly integrate into the pan-European line on Transcaucasia. This means that the Armenian authorities can join the pressure on the Georgians on issues of "democracy" and foreign policy, especially if demanded in Brussels.
