Undeniable Proof That You Need Robot Vacuum And Mop
Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more powerful. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and are able to handle a variety of flooring. Find models that allow you to choose from multiple modes, use their charging dock to self-empty and clean the stairs.
A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving up to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However it had some issues getting down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or rugs.

Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its water tank with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will vary dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working efficiently. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to prevent it from becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides a powerful solution for your cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply drag a pad across a surface. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station, if needed.
The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum for those areas that the robot isn't able to reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled whenever required. It also has a range of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it can get stuck on small mats and rugs around my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping feature is pretty excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub floors instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation whenever needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our best mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned our tests' dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one room to another without changing direction it is a useful feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors and leaves a large margin over obstacles. This can result in miss-hit spots.
The app features a simple user interface that is designed to be easy for both novice and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, change the suction power and mopping settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video supervision. You will require a stable internet connection to access the app and external controls.
4. best robot vacuum cleaner are great at picking up dirt and debris but they can't reach every bit of dust. It's essential to clean your home frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and integrates with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but cuts down on cost by removing mopping and using a less expensive plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to clean your floors, the Q5 still offers the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot in this price range. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and set the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.
Its mops also impress with their 2700Pa power that can take on pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rug, but it was unable to remove kitty litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums can't. The device also collects dust in a larger dustbin that means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. This robot can detect carpets and increase suction when needed. You can also mark off areas you would like to keep out of the app.
