James Evans McReynolds Love speaks with an honest heart. And the reward will be surprising Joy. Minister of Joy to the World.
But why? Why do you do what you do? Why do you respond the way you do? Why do you love the way you do? Why do you believe what you do? "Why?” This word holds so much weight. It’s not a word that is just thrown into a sentence as a filler, but a word that has meaning. One of my favorite phrases to say is… “You have to know the “why” behind your “what”.”… I would even consider it a Meaghan-ism. (Wahoo, I have one! LOL) This statement is actually one that brings so much freedom … and peace because it is between you and your creator. I can share with you what I think you should do, how you should respond, how you should believe… but it won’t last. YOU have to find your “why behind your what”. YOU have to make the decisions that define who you are and why. And when you do this it will bring a confidence, a joy, a peace and a strength to you. Often times if we do take the time and examine this, we find that there are things that need to be revisited. Things we have gotten “comfortable” with. So let me ask you this… “What is the “why” behind what you do, who you are, how you love and what you believe?"
"Loving people different than you.” This is a phrase that has become a part of my daily life for a few years now. It inspires me to look beyond peoples beliefs, the way they vote, the way they live, the choices they make, etc. It’s truly a freeing way to look at and genuinely love all mankind… but yet I still get stuck. I grew up in church surrounded by christians. I loved it, but yet I find myself in this place learning to love christians the way I love unbelievers. Isn’t it … funny that we can love someone who isn’t a christian, but we struggle to love christians who are different from us? I may be the only one on this planet that struggles with this, but I gotta make the change. Everyone has a story, a challenge, a purpose, a destiny… It’s time to start looking deep into their heart and call out the characteristics of God in them. Call out the dreams and calling as if it already were! Division in the church caused by our differences will never fully allow us to reach the people around us who need Jesus… Just something to ponder today! # lovewins # uncensoredjesus

As a church body some of us have been taught that to ask questions, shed a tear or even have a little fear when our world collides with sickness, heartache or pain means that we lack faith, but the Jesus I know is bigger than it all. His love wants to answer my questions with peace and His love wants to dry my tears. His love wants to calm my fears and heal my pain. Jesus is not afraid of my questions. When I ask or l … ook at the realities of things my “faith meter” doesn’t go down. I was created by the creator of heaven and earth as a human with all the human traits that come with it. Life comes with surprises and challenges more than many of us would like to admit, but in the midst of it all I know that Jesus love fills in where I lack. Don’t allow the enemy to rob you from the freedom of trusting Jesus. He is faithful and as you have faith to believe that He is with you, He will be! "Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. I am enough… I am enough… I am …. Let’s be honest, those can sometimes just be words... I want to shout it from the rooftops, but first I have to believe it in the whisper to myself… Believe it not only in my head, but my heart! You see, I grew up in an amazing family. My parents and my siblings have always reminded me that I was beautiful...that I was perfect the way God made me… that I was enough! And before you go tuning me out… it wasn’t in some fake sense of the word. I … didn’t get a trophy for everything…(haha)... but those words were said in a way to speak “LIFE" constantly to me. With all this “LIFE" that was spoken, I should be able to conquer the world… Not so much. I can tell you all about how God created us with a purpose and a destiny. That He fashioned us in our mother’s womb with a dream to walk out… And I believe that wholeheartedly… but there is still a blaring loud voice I face everyday… “Meaghan, you are not enough. If you were then you would…” Fill in the blank with anything from being confident, standing on stages across the globe to changing culture to having a husband and kids. Why do I find things to be the “things” that define if I am enough? I think it goes back to knowing that I am called to all of those things I have mentioned. I truly believe they are in the destiny and purpose that God fashioned me in. Some of the things I have done, but not all of them… Why? Why God? And yet I continually hear his voice “Trust me.” This one is a hard one, and the past few weeks have reminded me of this mountain countinuously… But I have to believe the words that “I am enough” and that He will give me the desires and dreams of my heart. To know Him is to trust him… What are you facing that makes you feel that you are not enough? Ask God to give you something to hold on to. Not saying it gets easy, but He can be trusted! # uncensoredjesus # iamenough
"No fear… I repeat, no fear!” As we embark on a new season for the United States of America I want to remind us all that no man or woman can change the course of our country alone. We need God to lead us and we need to have the courage to be the change we desire. We need to be led by the love of Jesus rather than our political preferences. My heart breaks for so many friends of mine who have posted statuses about being afraid because Trump was elected president. Yes, Trump wi … ll fail us at times as every man does… he’s not perfect. But, Jesus is is still here and ready to walk through life with us. He has a plan and a purpose for us. He wants his love and presence to be known more than ever before. Begin to dream again... In the midst of pain, frustration or disappointment don't give up! God created you with a plan and a purpose. He put those dreams in you and wants you to LOVE life! The secret is out... I found myself so excited to have a place to talk about life, love, sex, church and so much more. A place to be real and give a "church girl" perspective. A place to put everything through a filter of the overwhelming power and love of Jesus. I chose to do this anonymously and use the name @uncensoredjesus ... but after thinking on it I was faced with the reality that most people that are willing to talk straight won't put their name to it. God quickly sp … oke to me "I need you to be real and 100% you!" We need kids, teens, men and women of God who are willing to face the hard conversations with the greatest detail of love always displayed. Jesus love for mankind surpasses all opinions and judgements. His love is all that matters... Have you ever tried to get yourself into a place or position? Let's be honest, if you want something you have to go for it... make it happen yourself! God's too busy with other people's pain and crisis to worry about your desires... Yeah, I think not! God cares about every detail of my life including job promotions, achievements and accomplishments. His heart for me is to win! He created you and me with incredible gifts and talents and wants people to recognize and honor us f … or them. Yes, there are times that we will have to push through and pursue things... but sometimes God simply wants us to wait on Him... Let him PROMOTE YOU! "Wait, He needs me to convince them I am capable..." Actually, He doesn't. "Wait, how will they know about me?" The God of heaven and earth knows who you are and formed you. He knows every part of you! What are you desiring in this season? A promotion at work, ministry, athletics, leadership, etc? Ask God what steps you need to do and then sit back and allow Him to do the rest. But remember, if you don't get what you want, he truly has a greater plan! Do your part and HE WILL DO HIS! // “So be content with who you are, and don’t put on airs. God’s strong hand is on you; he’ll promote you at the right time. Voting is important and something that we should all take part in... but whether you are voting for # trump or # clinton be informed and confident in your decision and # vote ... the days ahead will surely impact us greatly, but I know for sure that one title/position that will not be overturned is "Savior of the world"... Jesus is not at risk and has given us a peace to surpasses all. “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. When we change people, we run the risk of hurting them deeply... but when the Holy Spirit does, it transforms them from within! We all have people in our lives that are different from us, and most likely stand for something that we believe is "against the word of God"... However, I encourage you to love past that and show them who Jesus truly is. Extend grace and love... Jesus will make himself known and the Holy Spirit is the only one that can bring true transformation that will be in a way that is most likely "unfamiliar" to you! # uncensoredjesus # lovewins # grace # holyspirit
To truly love someone can bring so much joy, yet so much pain. What could possibly be worth the heartache and pain? Who would put themselves through that? I would... I do! I love quick and I love hard! There's something so captivating to see someone light up when they feel loved and valued. Something so memorable about seeing someone's eyes light up when then are being exactly who they were created to be... But even if the light dims and the the relationship is distant or lost... I still find it worth it! In these moments, I get to smile and think about the moment something was unlocked in them and it will not be hidden for long. Love hurts, but take the risk!
