They are a one trick pony - CCP IS EVIL. There is zero objective journalism with the same message repeated over and over again.
CCP are slaughtering and oppressing millions.
This is the same crowd New Tang Dynasty Television connected to the comparably nutty Epoch Times - another ‘platform’ which has one line and zero objective focus.
The ‘news’ offered from these connected platforms are insanely biased, poorly researched, play into the idea of China as the mega bogeyman the world must fear - and the US should stop.

Its very much a propaganda tool of the neoliberalism and immense need for war driven by the military industrial complex hugely influential in US foreign policy.
Also connections between Robert Mercer, the mega Trump donor, Steve Bannon (who has promoted a brutal anti Beijing agenda for years) and colleagues such as Huayi Zhang.
New Tang are owned by the same crowd who spent over $9m on Pro Trump advertising in the US. I believe they were banned by Facebook, and twitter…

Dodgy connections to Chief Trump fixers and mega hedge fund owners?
Appallingly one sided propaganda campaigns on youtube and in the Epoch Times?
Millions of $ in support from…shady sources geared towards portraying the CCP as the enemy of the world who must be stopped, ideally by the US.
This is not a trustworthy source of news on China.
How many racists do you know who openly says: “Yes, I am a racist. I hate these people and I want to talk trash about them in every which way I can”?
As the great comedian Bill Burr said about racists: they always give disclaimers like “Hey you know I’m NOT racist, BUT [insert group name] [followed up by fucked up conversation]”.
So no, just because they “say” or “claim” they are not racist or against Chinese people, which is an argument I’ve often heard from themselves and their fans, doesn’t mean it’s true. Judge them by their actions, not their words.

In fact, despite what they claim, the fact that their WHOLE CHANNEL is literally ALL ABOUT criticizing China, should give you a pretty good idea how biased they are (by definition). And then you only need to ask yourself one question: do you think “biased” and “…trustworthy source…” go together?
(Btw, I know they like to hide behind the typical “we’re just criticizing the government, not the people” shtick, but unfortunately that seems like an excuse. Because they also constantly criticize the CULTURAL issues in China, the people in China, and call Chinese people “nationalists” for simply voicing opinions that differs from theirs…)
“If you think China isn’t communist anymore, you are wrong” - No one claims China isn’t communist anymore.
You need to understand political structure and economic structure are two different things. China is a politically communist country, so when people talk about China’s economy being “state-capitalist”, they’re not saying China is “politically democratic”, but they are saying China’s economic system does not follow the traditional communist path anymore.
For trustworthy news source, I would not trust China Uncensored, as they ONLY ever talk about the exaggerated, bad-INTERPRETATION of different aspects of China - again, that is “bias” by definition.
Finally, making a case for China Uncensored based on “subscriber count” is just low. In the west, it is “popular” to hate China, so having a channel that rides that popularity is, of course, going to get more subscribers than a channel that constantly tells people “Hey, your views are wrong and you’re biased and brainwashed by decades of anti-China propaganda in your own media”. Lol yea good luck with that.
“Propaganda channel would never get that much subscribers in liberal democratic countries” - Do you not know how many viewers Fox news have? Why don’t you ask the Democrats to apply your logic there? Or vise versa for CNN/MSNBC with Republican viewers?
Lol, no, biased channels DO get a lot of views - in fact, more often than not, they do better than non-biased channels! Because non-biased channels constantly FORCE EVERYONE (not just one type of people) to CONFRONT THEIR OWN BIASES. So they end up pissing off everybody and nobody subscribes to them.
