Privacy Policy for UnboxMSG

UnboxMSG is designed with privacy in mind. The app opens, reads, and organizes supported email files locally on your device.

1. Email Files and Message Content

UnboxMSG processes imported email files locally on your device.

The app does not upload your MSG or EML files, message content, attachments, sender information, recipient information, or other email data to UnboxMSG servers.

UnboxMSG does not operate a server for storing or processing your email content.

Imported files may be copied into the app’s local storage so they can remain available in your UnboxMSG library.

2. Accounts

UnboxMSG does not require you to create an account.

We do not collect your name, email address, password, or other account information.

3. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

UnboxMSG does not use advertising SDKs.

UnboxMSG does not track you across apps or websites.

UnboxMSG does not sell personal information.

UnboxMSG does not use the contents of your email files for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

4. Purchases

UnboxMSG may offer optional in-app purchases through Apple’s App Store.

Purchases and payment information are processed by Apple.

UnboxMSG does not receive or store your credit card or payment details.

The app may use Apple’s StoreKit services to determine whether you have an active purchase or entitlement.

5. Local App Data

UnboxMSG may store information locally on your device that is required to provide app functionality, including:

• imported file information

• message metadata

• locally stored copies of imported files

• attachment information

• favorites

• library state

• sorting and display preferences

• app settings

• purchase-related entitlement state used for app functionality

This information is used only to provide and improve the functionality of the app.

6. Network Access

The core email viewing and library features of UnboxMSG are designed to work without a network connection.

UnboxMSG does not automatically upload your imported email files or attachments to external servers.

Remote content contained inside email messages may be restricted or blocked in order to help protect your privacy.

7. Sharing and Exporting

UnboxMSG shares or exports files only when you explicitly choose a system sharing, export, or save action.

When you share content with another app, service, or destination, that third party’s privacy practices may apply.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Imported files and related app data may remain stored locally on your device until you remove them from the UnboxMSG library or uninstall the app.

Removing a message from the UnboxMSG library removes the app-managed local copy and associated local app data where applicable.

UnboxMSG does not delete the original external file from which the message was imported.

9. Children’s Privacy

UnboxMSG does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if UnboxMSG functionality or privacy practices change.

Any material changes will be reflected in an updated version of this policy.
