What are airdrops?

Airdrops are a powerful way to reward your token community for their time, engagement, and participation in growing your community. The community is the heart of any token project and can be the strongest brand ambassador, making your project successful. Airdropping tokens to them is vital to incentivize them to participate and grow a token team's project.

How to set up an airdrop wallet?

Add Iris as an admin in your community
Trigger the /setup@iris_flooz_xyz command within your community’s chat.
Click on “Click me” and follow the instructions in the 1:1 chat
Add your contract address
Click on 🪂 Airdrops
Enter your email and use the one-time password (OTP) sent to your email to create your Airdrop wallet.
Congrats! Your Airdrop wallet has just been created
Lastly, send the tokens you would like to airdrop to the wallet address presented

Please note that Flooz is sponsoring gas fees for BASE, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, and soon Solana, Blast, Linea, Mantle, and Scroll transactions for token teams and end users alike.

Flooz is not sponsoring gas fees for Ethereum, BSC, and Polygon. Please ensure you have sufficient gas tokens loaded in your airdrop wallet.

Is the airdrop wallet secure?

The airdrop wallet is designed with a strong emphasis on security and self-custody. Flooz believes in self-custody, meaning that Flooz never has access to your wallet, seed phrase, private key, or session key.

The airdrop wallet is account abstracted, allowing it to perform airdrops on behalf of your instructions without compromising security.

Steps to Export Seed Phrase/Private Keys:

Go to flooz.xyz.
Click on the settings icon.
Click on Wallet Settings.
Click on Export Seedphrase or Private Key.
Enter the one-time password sent to the email used to set up the wallet.

Flooz ensures all data is encrypted and transmitted securely.

How can community members claim airdrops?

Whenever an airdrop has been initiated, e.g. via Join2Earn, Chat2Earn, Raid2Earn or other use cases, your community members are notified that they can claim an airdrop. Each notification contains a link to claim their airdrop.

New users are redirected to the Iris bot to enter their email and OTP once
Existing users benefit from our “auto-claim” feature and will be notified that an airdrop has been initiated and completed. They do not have to click on any buttons. The process is quick and user-friendly.

Reward any Telegram user for joining your community

How to activate Join2Earn:

Trigger the /setup@iris_flooz_xyz command within your community’s chat.
Click on “Click me” and then go to Airdrops > Create and Manage Airdrops > Join2Earn.
Set up the token pair and amount of tokens per new joiner.
Add a custom welcome message, description, and banner/media asset.
Turn this feature on and off as needed.

Flooz has partnered with Arkitech and its leading community management bot, Guardian. Once the integration goes live, Guardian's powerful features will help supercharge your community and prevent abuse of Join2Earn.

How Join2Earn works for the end user:

Users joining your community receive a welcome message with a claim link.
New users are redirected to the Iris bot to enter their email and OTP once while existing users receive notifications.
Claimed airdrops can be shared instantly on Telegram or Twitter/X, creating a viral growth loop.

Viral Growth

After a community member has claimed their airdrop for Join2Earn or any other way of token distribution, they can now easily share your community's Telegram handle and Verified Links with friends and other communities. This creates a powerful viral loop, encouraging their friends to join your channel and learn more about your project.

Enabling viral growth is easy:

Trigger the /setup@iris_flooz_xyz command within your community’s chat.
Click on “Click me” and then go to "Verified links" > "Manage Links" > select “Telegram” and add your Telegram handle.
Make sure that you have Join2Earn enabled: "Airdrop" > "Create and Manage Airdrops" > "Join2Earn."

Pro Tip:

Ensure your Verified Links pages contain all your socials and essential links.
Make sure that your Join2Earn campaign contains a custom message and banner.

Chat2Earn

Reward users directly within the chat with the /airdrop command

For Chat2Earn to work, you need to set up your token ticker first:

Trigger the /setup@iris_flooz_xyz command within your community’s chat.
Click on “Click me” and then navigate to Airdrops > Create and Manage Airdrops > Set Token Ticker > Create New Ticker.
Enter the contract address of the token you would like to airdrop.

Why do I need to set up a token ticker?

Iris needs to know which token to airdrop. In the case where you have multiple tokens in your airdrop wallet to distribute, setting up your Token Tickers will ensure that Iris will know which token to select from when initiating /airdrop command.

Now that you’re set-up, only admins who have the right also to add other admins can use the following command:

/airdrop 100 PEPE to @username1, @username2, …

We’re soon launching a fat finger protection tool that allows you to set the max amount per Chat2Earn airdrop so that you don’t accidentally airdrop too many tokens to a user in the chat.

Psst! You can use the command within your community and set up a group with your team to reward your designers, developers, and moderators directly with tokens for their contributions.

Raid2Earn
