It seems that events in the Middle East are overshadowing what's happening in our war, not only on the international agenda but also on our own.
In fact, the enemy is not sitting idle, and the new Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Fedorov, and his team are taking active steps, going beyond their initial promises
Therefore, we will briefly describe his actions and statements, which our media is ignoring
"Last week, I spent several days on the frontline - in the Zaporizhia, Dnipro, and Kharkiv directions. I met with the commanders of corps and groups, brigade commanders, and heads of military administrations. We held meetings with the Southern Operational Command, the Commander of the Joint Forces, Mikhail Drapaty, and the Commander of the UAV Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi (Madiar). We worked directly with mechanized, airborne assault, and air defense units"
Key priorities: strengthening tactical and operational depth, scaling drones and interceptors, protecting logistics and critical routes, equipping brigades, deploying additional air defense groups, developing electronic warfare and radar field, building fortifications
1⃣ The basic minimum of drone support for brigades is being launched. This is a guaranteed monthly supply of FPVs, reconnaissance drones, bombers, and other UAVs - in addition to state supplies, eBay, and other purchases. This will allow brigades to plan defense and be confident in the resource. We are also working on a centralized supply of pickups and off-road vehicles for the army
2⃣ Audit of losses. We are starting an analysis of every loss on the battlefield. The audit will help identify key problems and make management decisions for their systemic solution. "Human capital is the highest value. We will fight for the life of every soldier"
3⃣ Changing the approach to forming needs. We are moving from manual needs formation to an automatic model. Based on high-quality data from the front, we will form real needs without a "zoo" of ineffective decisions
4⃣ We have reviewed the target indicators for drone provision for the year. A procurement plan has been formed. There will be more interceptors, FPVs and drones on fiber optics, reconnaissance-winged, strike drones for operational depth, and the necessary means will be more. The first quarter has already been contracted
5⃣ Scaling NRC. This year, there will be many times more ground robotic complexes. The goal is to transfer logistics to NRC to reduce losses
6⃣ An alternative to Mavics. We are working on products that can be an analogue of Mavics, using AI. We are already testing solutions that will soon be scaled on the front
7⃣ Separately, decisions were made on air defense groups. Enterprises will be able to temporarily receive weapons and means of destruction from the warehouses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units, if they are not involved in combat units. The list of means and the volume of ammunition will be determined by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the framework of an individual decision for each enterprise. In the event of their use in repelling attacks, replenishment will be carried out according to a simplified procedure on the basis of an act on actual expenses. Such a mechanism allows to strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure objects and integrate private capabilities into a single state air defense system
"Defending the sky is a top priority. Our goal is to identify 100% of air threats in real time and intercept at least 95% of missiles and drones. We have already implemented the After Action Review system for analyzing attacks, formed a command of "small" air defense and developed a concept of systemic protection, which we are gradually implementing. Coordination between the Air Force, military administrations, and the new command has been established". The heads of regions have been given the opportunity to analyze the effectiveness of air defense in real time
