Does anyone else just feel ugly pregnant? I'm in third tri and i just hate my pregnancy body. Before getting pregnant I was always concerned about my weight so my face didn't look fat, wore nothing but dresses (more for comfort but it's easy to look put together in them), and wouldn't go out unless I had at least minimal makeup and smoothed hair. That all went out the window about a week after my positive pregnancy test.
Talking about the realities of pregnancy, of how hard it is, how unpleasant, how disgusting (so much pooping! so much farting!), are frowned upon.
I can't do anything with my hair, am covered with spots, generally look appalling. Anyway, my point is, maybe if you feel crappy during pregnancy, you'll be a glowing beacon of motherhood afterwards? Think positive, the pregnancy is very temporary so this way round is better!
