A safari to Uganda will help you discover all the most attractive sites in this country. This parks holds more than half(700) of the worlds remaining mountain gorillas. The Mgahinga Park covers 28 square miles. However, in order to spot the endangered gorillas you will have to walk over steep slopes and through rocks within the forest. This is a bit difficult and may take hours leaving you with unforgettable memories. In this park, you will be able to view other wildlife animal like buffaloes, leopards, bush bucks and golden monkeys.
Your tour will include a safari to Rwenzori Mountains which reach a peak of 4,267m at the highest point above sea level and the highest mountain in Uganda. These Mountains have frequent rainfall accompanied by cold weathers through out the year. This makes it slippery and muddy for mountain climbers and hikers. You therefore have to use strong sticks for balancing and, remember wear warm clothing, gloves, gum boots and first aid kits. In this tour, your porters will carry your belongings as you carry the light luggage such as water and camera. You are free to purchase or prepare your own food where you will be provided with cooking utensils and also cooks.
