In connection with the 120th anniversary of the birth of Muso Toshmuhammad ugli Oybek, Peopleʼs Poet of Uzbekistan, a republican scientific-theoretical conference on the topic “The Spiritual and Educational Significance of Oybekʼs Creativity” and there will be a presentation of the book "Young Heart. Oybek - Yesterday and Today.
Leading specialists, scholars, professors, doctoral students, independent researchers, masterʼs students, and talented undergraduate students from our country and abroad are invited to participate with their articles and theses.
DIRECTIONS OF THE SCIENTIFIC-THEORETICAL CONFERENCE:
1. Oybekʼs literary heritage through the lens of Independence-era literary studies;
2. Foreign studies on Oybek;
3. Theoretical issues of Soviet-era and Independence-era Oybek studies;
4. The importance of Oybekʼs lyric poetry in contemporary Uzbek poetry;
5. Oybek as an epic poet and his role in the development of Uzbek narrative poetry;
6. Oybek as a novelist: his significance in the progress of Uzbek novel-writing;
7. The role of Oybekʼs stories and novellas in the development of Uzbek prose;
8. Oybek as a literary scholar;
9. Oybekʼs activities in literary translation;
10. Translation of Oybekʼs works into foreign languages;
11. Issues of teaching Oybekʼs works in secondary and higher education institutions.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TEXT OF ARTICLES:
The conference conducts its work in Uzbek. Requirements for submitted articles:
The reports submitted to the conference should be devoted to the solution of current problems or should contain issues of important practical importance. The length of the article is 5-10 pages, the text of the article is doc. format, 1,5 intervals, 30 mm from the right side, 15 mm from the left side, 20 mm from the top and bottom, and Times New Roman 14 font; links are followed by the quoted sentence, the full name listed in the bibliography, the first letter of the name is written and the number in the list is given, the quoted page number is indicated after a colon [Normatov U. 1:18]; the title of the article should not exceed 12 words; the name of the subject is automatically written in the middle of the line by darkening it with capital letters; align the next line to the right, write the speakerʼs surname and first name, the academic degree, scientific title in the next line, and his workplace and position in the next line; (in this case, phone numbers should be left so that the organizers can contact the authors) if there are several authors, the information about the next authors is given in the same way as the information about the first author; the abstract of the article (only in Uzbek) should be given before the text of the article; at least 5-7 keywords must be cited after the annotation; the text of the article should be two spaces below the keywords. The list of used literature should be given in alphabetical order. Materials will be accepted by telegram at the number +998(97)363-09-60 (Farhod Kenjaev) until May 15, 2025. The authors are responsible for the information in the articles and their scientific theoretical basis. Late and ineligible articles will not be accepted and will not be included in the collection.
It is planned to present the materials presented at the conference to the authors in the form of an electronic collection (PDF).
(Terms of payment: The collection of conference materials will be prepared in PDF electronic form. Authors are expected to receive an electronic package and a certificate (PDF).
