This year, we want to invest in and scale our number of users on Freecash and expand into new ventures with different audiences and target groups. For this, we are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our rapidly growing team in Berlin.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product managers and business development to understand the business requirements and user needs for our platform, primarily focusing on mobile devices while also considering desktop usage.
• Take over problems from the business development team and work on creative ideas to solve them
• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Translate insights into design solutions that enhance user satisfaction and product usability.
• Develop clear and intuitive information architecture and navigation systems that enable users to easily find and access the features they need.
• Create user flows to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively. Iterate on these concepts based on feedback and testing.
• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, analyze results, and use findings to refine and improve designs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and UI designers, to ensure a seamless integration of design and development efforts.

Requirements:

• Senior UX Designer; 5+ years experience with focus on mobile UX design
• Proven track record of building MVPs from scratch with a focus on mobile.
• Experience being the sole UX designer in a team.
• Interested in product strategy, comfortable influencing the growth and direction of our startup.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX design projects, highlighting your problem-solving abilities and design process. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Understanding of front-end development technologies and their impact on design (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Bonus skill: Previous experience in designing mobile games or gamified designs
