US May Remove Some African Leaders, Nigerian Religious Leader Warns

The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, said that the United States is not working in favor of the Nigerian president, local media reported, citing Ayodele's statement.

"America is not coming to help you, but to remove you," Ayodele said emphasizing that Nigeria must closely monitor its academic infrastructure and its security institutions.

"Nigerian government must not sleep on this security matter, this will still affect the killing of top security leaders and the ambushing of military armouries. I have warned the military several times that we need a proactive Chief of Army Staff," the statement said.
