UPCOMING WEBSITE AND STATS UPGRADES FOR TFSN

UPCOMING WEBSITE AND STATS UPGRADES FOR TFSN

Dieanic

The Finals Stats Network (TFSN) officially launched on September 2, marking the beginning of our project to bring competitive THE FINALS statistics into one central platform.

Throughout our first official month, we have taken the time to listen to community feedback, evaluate requests and explore ways to improve the website. With September serving as the foundation for the project, we are now preparing our next round of upgrades, focusing on making statistics more accessible, expanding our available data and improving the overall user experience.

We have outlined several changes planned for the end of October, with more detailed articles covering individual features to follow as they approach release.

WEBSITE UPGRADES

One of our main goals is to make TFSN the central destination for statistics from official competitive THE FINALS tournaments. To achieve this, we want to improve how information is presented and make the platform easier to understand for both new viewers and experienced players.

DETAILED STATS AND NEWS PAGE

As the website continues to expand, understanding the numbers behind individual performances will become increasingly important. We will introduce detailed explanations of our existing statistics, while every new statistic added to the platform will receive its own breakdown article alongside a shorter explanation directly on the website.

To support this, we will also introduce a dedicated news page. All articles will be freely accessible, covering upcoming features, statistical changes and other developments across the platform. We will also share these articles through our dedicated TFSN Discord server, keeping the community informed as the website evolves.

COMPARE FEATURE REDESIGN

The HUD of our Compare feature is also set for a rework. Our planned redesign aims to deliver a cleaner interface and make comparing player performances easier to understand, allowing users to navigate the available statistics more intuitively.

These three changes the new news page, improved statistics explanations and the Compare redesign are targeted for release by the end of October.

We have also explored other potential features, including Event History, Match History and upcoming games displayed on team and event profiles. However, we cannot yet confirm when or if these additions will arrive.

STATS UPDATE

Beyond the website itself, we have been working on expanding the statistical tools available to the community. Two of our most significant additions in development are Player Rating and Global Team Ratings, both of which have been in the works for several weeks.

We have deliberately taken our time with these systems, as we want to ensure that our ratings provide a reliable representation of individual player performances and overall team strength rather than rushing them into release.

PLAYER RATING AND GLOBAL TEAM RATING

Our upcoming Player Rating system will provide a clearer picture of how an individual performs compared to the average performance, offering another way to evaluate players beyond their raw statistics.

Global Team Ratings will rank teams on a global scale, giving viewers a clearer indication of how teams compare against one another across the competitive scene.

Both systems will feature ratings for 3v3, Cashout and an overall category. We will publish more detailed explanations of the calculations and methodology when the ratings go live, allowing players and viewers to understand what each rating represents and how it should be interpreted.

We are targeting the end of October for their release, giving the community time to familiarise itself with the systems ahead of The Grand Major 2026.

We are also planning to introduce win rates for 3v3, Cashout and overall performance as part of our upcoming statistical additions.

TOP 16 DATA REMAINS A WORK IN PROGRESS

The availability of Top 16 statistics has been one of the major topics of discussion within our community, and we want to provide an update on our efforts to recover the missing data.

We are still working towards obtaining Top 16 data and have been in contact with tournament organisers regarding previously saved data, screenshots and available VODs. While we have already secured some recordings, recovering every game across all regions remains a challenge.

The main difficulty lies in the age of some of the matches. Certain Top 16 games date back to May 2026, while our database was built around August 2026 using Top 8 VODs as its foundation. As a result, we have not yet been able to recover the complete dataset for every region.

We have not given up on this effort, and we ask the community to remain patient while we continue to investigate possible solutions. We will provide another update on the situation in the coming weeks.

CLOSED QUALIFIER STATS

On a more positive note, we are happy to confirm that we will provide detailed statistics for all Closed Qualifier games across every region.

This includes matches that were not featured on the official livestream, giving the community access to a more complete picture of the competition beyond the games shown to viewers.

With sufficient data and VODs available, we have been able to account for the full set of Closed Qualifier matches. We plan to upload these statistics before The Grand Major 2026.

LOOKING AHEAD

With our first month behind us, we are focused on turning community feedback into tangible improvements. Our immediate priorities are to deliver the confirmed website upgrades, introduce our new rating systems and expand the available competitive data ahead of The Grand Major 2026.

As a small crew, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we continue developing TFSN. We want to deliver the best possible experience for everyone, and while we are working hard to bring new features and improvements to the website, some things simply take time. We truly appreciate everyone who has supported us so far, shared feedback and helped us improve. Your patience and support mean a lot to us as we continue building TFSN and contributing to the growth of competitive THE FINALS.

We encourage everyone to share feedback, suggestions and questions through our TFSN Discord server and social media channels.

More detailed articles covering the upcoming changes will follow as the features approach release.
