Combo unico arnet y personal (Essex County) At the U of R I got to get involved in research pretty early. In my Freshman year I started working with the Physics Department maintaining and building demonstrations to be used in lectures. At the end of my Sophomore year that led into a job building a magneto-optical trap that's later going to become part of an advanced Physics lab. I think the most unique thing about the University of Rochester is the combination between the open curriculum and the research opportunities. There are other schoos where you can get involved in research, but having the open curriculum allows you to pursue that in a way that you might not be able to another school.
