UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves SLAMS Trump’s war on Iran:

The conclusion from the war on Iran should be that the US is a rogue state, lashing out dangerously and chaotically as its hegemony declines.

The ‘Special Relationship™️’ is nothing but an abusive relationship where the UK is either expected to uncritically support or be dragged into one disastrous war after another, thereby increasing anti-British sentiment around the world.

But the British political class and foreign policy establishment has so far been to unimaginative and weak to deepen their strategic ties with the rising powers of the world, and is still seen by the rest of the world as a protesting US vassal, that in due time, will recommit to once again being a totally obedient vassal.

They of course can change course, whether there is enough will or courage is another question entirely.
