About Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor is an Irish fighter who had claimed the Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight and lightweight titles. Born in 1988, Conor McGregor transformed from a fellow boy in the neighborhood to big star in the MMA world. He joined the UFC back then in 2013. his fans and the world have been calling him “the Notorious.” He became the two-division champion after getting his lightweight title in 2016. These measurements are what make him prominent fighter in the octagon.

He mainly fought as a featherweight (145 pounds) and lightweight (155 pounds). However, he has managed to get up to 170 pounds for attaining the welterweight bouts. In three years, he won 12 matches in the MMA professional career. Two years later, he was fighting for the ProFC promotion. At 2011, he won all of his seven matches. UFC approached him after he got an impressive record of 16 wins. In the same year, he struck a deal with the UFC for six fights arrangement. Then he joined with the lightweight division. His first opponent was Kamal Shalorus in early 2012. He won it. Other opponents are Thiago Tavares, Dos Anjos, Gleison Tibau, Abel Trujillo, Pat Healy, and many others.
