Türkiye'de fuhuş yasaldır ve Türk Ceza Kanunu 'nun 5237 sayılı yasanın 227. maddesi [1] tarafından düzenlenmiştir. Ancak, fuhuşa teşvik eden ve yolunu kolaylaştırana iki yıldan dört yıla kadar hapis cezası uygulanır.
