Because I’m a hard-hitting investigative journalist in the time of COVID, I pursue all leads on my way to a good story. So when I got an anonymous email from someone with murky motives offering a supposed lead, I was skeptical. Then I saw it took me to a video with dirty dancing twinks and I decided this could be my Pulitzer.
The link I got was to the YouTube page of an L.A.-based blogger named Matthew Lush who, apparently, is trolling for an online boyfriend. Lush is a kinda cute otter himself in the “yaaasss, kweeeennn!” mold, so I took a look.
The deal is, Lush sets challenges for contestants to partake in by sending videos of themselves doing the task, then others vote on their favorite; the lowest one gets eliminated. (It just launched about a week ago, it seems.)
The reason why my confidential source suggested I look into it was because a local man named Sergio (lives in Denton) is in the mix. The informant thought there might be a local angle.
But I gotta tell ya: I don’t roll that way. I’m not gonna just be a cheerleader for the North Texan. (Also I tend to like meatier guys.)
This week, Lush and his non-socially-distanced buddy totally Randy-and-Paula the shit out of the videos, with the theme of “dancing in your undies.” It takes about a half-hour to watch a bunch of twinkie young guys shake and grind in cravenly thirsty tease videos. Yes, it has come to this. Still, there are worse ways to spend 30 minutes in quarantine.
OK, check out the video below. I will now go back to my fearless pursuit of the truth.
Somebody pluck out my eyes and ears now. Slow news day I guess.

Meet the gay, identical Coyle twins: ‘A lot of creepy people think we’re a couple’

Luc and Cooper are gay, identical twins from New York.
You might know them as the Coyle Twins on YouTube, where one of their most popular videos showed them coming out to their mother.
The pair, who are 20-years-old, are from New York and vlog about why it’s cool to be a feminine boy, as well as fashion and fast food.
They spoke to PinkNews about the best and worst things about being identical, gay and mistaken for a couple by “a lot of creepy people.”
“Probably the fact that we’re always remembered,” said Cooper.
“It’s very rare that you see two identical twins walking around, and then in our case it’s two identical gay twins.
“And the fact that we had each other during the whole coming out process.”
“Just the fact that we like the same sex alone, growing up we always had the same interests, we always did the same things,” Luc added.
“Growing up, you have a best friend by your side. Just having that rock on your side, going through the same thing as you [with coming out], it’s really helpful.
“We can talk about boys together, we can talk about all the gay struggles that you have to go through.
Cooper agreed: “We can switch up on people and I can say: ‘Oh, I’m Luc’ but really I’m Cooper.”
“The most negative thing about being a gay twin is that everyone, well a lot of creepy people, think you’re a couple,” Luc explained.
“It’s like, sweetie no. Just because we look alike does not mean we’re boyfriend twins.
“We have the same last name, we are twins, we are related—take your creepy thoughts out of here.”
“You get the weirdest questions,” Cooper added.
“People are always coming up to us in person and you can only imagine what they ask us.”
Celebs you didn’t know have an LGBT sibling
But being regularly compared to each other is also frustrating, said Luc.
“People are always going to compare you constantly, it’s the worst. It’s so annoying—we were born on the same day but we are not one person.”
Cooper added: “One last negative thing about being gay twins is the fact that we’re kind of always fighting over guys, low key.
“We kind of have the same type if you know what I mean.”
Luc agreed: “It can get messy, that’s all I’m going to say.”

Anna and Lucy DeCinque have revealed the arrangement they have to make their shared relationship work in the bedroom
Identical twins Anna and Lucy DeCinque have revealed they share every aspect of their lives - including time in bed with their boyfriend.
The 30-year-old sisters baffled ITV's This Morning hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby as they bluntly admitted they sleep with him at the same time .
They said: "We're in the mood at the same time. He's a lucky guy, He needs double the energy, he gets double the love and double the attention."
Although the sisters admitted people have an issue with their arrangement, they have stood by their decision.
"They can have their opinions but this is the way we want to live our lives," they argued. "We're not hurting anyone and it makes us happy.
"We're always going to be together. Because we're with each other 24/7 of our lives it's so much easier to share a boyfriend."
The girls are both in a relationship with mechanic Ben Byrne, who is also a twin - but not an identical one.
Even though the two aren’t actively trying for babies, yet, they told Australian current affairs and discussion show The Insight their plans when they do start planning a family.
Anna said: “If I got pregnant Lucy would definitely get pregnant straight way — because our bodies need to be the same.
“We would try to make that happen, definitely. We are not trying right now — we love children and kids love us, but it’s not the time for us.
“We would have to be exactly the same — even if we went through IVF at the same time.”
The pair shared their story on the show, as part of a double episode about twins.
Following the programme, the twins spoke to the Herald Sun (which weren’t able to say which of the girls was speaking as “their voices are pretty much identical too.”)
One of twins said: “We actually felt a bit intimidated by the other twins, because we always thought we were the centre of attention.”
The Insight investigation looks at what the latest twin research can reveal about humanity at large — for social and scientific researchers, twins are ‘the perfect natural experiment’, especially identical twins who share 99.9% of the same DNA.
The pair became famous after they were dubbed the 'world's most identical twins' on a Japanese prank TV show, when facial recognition technology could not tell them apart.
The two - born just a minute apart - have reportedly blown £130,000 on cosmetic surgery to make sure they look as similar as possible.
The list of surgery they have had includes breast implants, lip fillers, fake eyebrows and eyelashes to make sure they look exactly the same.
