Surgeons in Florida have given a 17-year-old boy what’s being called the “world’s first” penis reduction surgery.
The teen came to doctors complaining of a penis “too large for intercourse,” according to an article in The Journal of Sexual Medicine, published online in November. He was also unable to play sports or even wear most clothing without his phallus showing through the fabric.
The penis was 7 inches long and had a circumference of 10 inches , according to the Daily Mail. That’s about the same size as an average mayonnaise jar, based on measurements taken by HuffPost Weird.
“His penis had inflated like a balloon,” Rafael Carrion, a urologist at the University of South Florida who treated the patient, told the Daily Mail.
The shape and massive size of the penis was the result of the teen’s sickle cell anemia. Irregular blood cells would block penile blood vessels and lead to swelling and priapism — a long-lasting and painful erection. This had happened three times since the boy was 10, which “progressively led” to a deformed penis, according to the Journal.
Carrion said he couldn’t find any precedent for penis reduction surgery. His team ended up opting to slice along the patient’s circumcision scar, unwrap the skin, and then remove chunks of tissue from each side.
He added that the teen is “very satisfied” with his new penis, which is still “generous” in size but is now more standard in appearance.

If your gay-boy libido didn’t kick into overdrive at PhillyGayCalendar’s Boys of Summer event on Saturday at Voyeur, you should probably see a doctor — pronto. Titillating twinks, beefy bears, macho muscle studs, a bevy of queens gawking from a distance — to be sure, there was no lack of diversity (or sexual chemistry) populating this year’s Main Event. And though the summer soiree didn’t heat up until shortly after 11 p.m. (probably because of Tabu’s Bearlesque at 10), the euphoric sex-on-the-beach atmosphere was full throttle from the get-go.
Promptly at 9 p.m., toned and tanned go-go boys took the stage in their undies to gyrate their hips around glowing, rainbow-colored hula hoops as chiseled men in their crotch-clutching swimsuits trickled into the venue. Prancing about all the while was MC-substitute drag diva Satine Harlow. (She was filling in for Goddess Isis, whose basement flooded earlier in the day — the basement where she keeps all her drag.) Natalia Kills took the stage around 1:30 a.m., after coming from Bearlesque where she watched and reportedly loved an all-bear’d-up version of her song, “ Problem .” Too cute!

There are a lot of things, places on the body that turns several people on. These are called sexual fetishes. As time grew by, I learnt of several people’s sexual fetishes and what gets them going. Here are 10 common ones.
Feet. This is the most common fetish based on body part, especially among men. This is because they lead to a leg, which in turn leads to genitals.
Shoes. For men mostly, this is a fetish and for some women. The heel shoes turn on a lot of guys while a pretty good shoe donned by a man turns on some women. The idea of having sex with nothing on except for shoes or heels is arousing for them.
Ear. There’s nothing that arouses the sexual drive more for a lot of people than a soft smooch with the lips on their ears.
Colour. Colours are another common fetishes found among men. A man can see a woman in blue or red and instantly get aroused.
Hair. Women in gorgeous manes have proven to be a prime attractive feature in women; even men are going bald to retain their appeal for women.
Underwear. This is also a common one and seen as the most perverted as sometimes, obsessed men are caught scooping up underwear from laundry lines just to satisfy their fetishes. Some people experience sexual excitement from wearing certain types of underwear. Other people experience sexual excitement when observing or handling certain types of underwear worn by another or watching somebody putting underwear on, or taking it off which can then go on to fall under acts of voyeurism.
Navel fetishism. Common among men, navel fetishism is another kind where a particular body part becomes the primary locus of sexual desire, often making the navel equal to the partner. It is however mostly filed under sadomasochism.
Body piercings. Because most find ecstasy in pain and pain in ecstasy, body piercings can be a common fetish. Though this appeals more to the younger generation, a lot of oldies have been seen to have this fetish. People like Charly Boy.
Tattoos. Just like the piercing is another fetish for a select group. A lot of young people get stimulated sexually by merely seeing an inscription of the body.
Gerontophilia. The intense sexual attraction that younger men and women feel for older men and women can qualify as a fetish, if it borders on the obsessive.

Theres nothing quite as shocking as seeing male genetalia in a film. Trust me, I've had to research for an article on it. There may still be some gasps at the female equivalent, but were certainly more accustomed to their appearance (sometimes even popping up in a 15). A stray knob shot can still cause gasps of horror or ripples of laughter. With gross out comedy reaching higher and higher to shock audiences, we've seen genital shots with increasing frequency in recent years, but theres an equal amount of films that show us it with a straight face. Seeing a character fully naked conveys a bareness of the soul and allows actors to fully transmit their role (if theyre game). In tribute to these brave (or boasting) souls, we present you with the ten moments in the history of cinema where actors have fully shown themselves for art (or, in some cases, for gasps). No one really likes seeing a penis, so of course, no matter how common full frontal nudity becomes, theres still going to be awkward squirming from a good half of the audience, but join us in taking a gander at some of the most shocking shots cinema has to offer. 10. Brüno Even though Borat is certainly the most genuinely shocking of Sacha Baron Cohens big screen exercises, thanks to the is-it-isn't-it-real factor, theres certainly moments that can shock in his other works. Early on in the 2009 "comedy" Brüno, as if staking a claim for the outrageous nature of the film, the Baron Cohens gay Austrian (nationality chosen to allow for a Hitler joke) makes an interview pilot, ending with him doing some rather creative acrobatics with his member. Its not an overly funny scene, instead coming across as desperate, but theres no denying the shock value; youre not going to forget it any time soon. Obviously, it wasn't Baron Cohen doing the actual scene (and its not surprising when you consider the pelvic muscles needed for the stunt), which is one of the reasons for its low placing on the list.
