TUMBLR’S decision to shame the nude body is a vile commentary on capitalism and the ever present conservative march of censorship throughout the digital world. I’m so pissed that normal naked bodies are forced into hiding by the ridiculous forces of money, commerce, and religion. As Tumblr attempts to expand their global markets they’re forced to comply with anti-nudity laws in conservative and theocratic nations. As they seek profit they’re forced to bend to the whims of advertisers. And again the human body suffers perpetuating negative images of nudity, equating nudity with sex, and perverting what is normal, healthy, and even empowering: the naked human form.

Because everyone just assumes that I am up for sex with them and free to do so because I am in a polyamorous relationship. No. I don’t want to sleep with you.
Because if me or my partner are ever with other people then people gossip and assume that we are all having sex with each other even when we aren’t all involved in that way with one another.
Because when I break up with a partner and am sad about it I’ve had monogamous people tell me “at least you still have your other partner” as if that’s making it some less of a loss.
Because if I ever argue with any of my partners or have any issues that are general to any relationship model many of my monogamous friends will blame it on the polyamory and berate it all saying it sounds too complicated. Even if the argument was about nothing to do with polyamory.
Because people assume I will become monogamous when I meet the right person and that my other partners aren’t good enough somehow.
Because when I started dating a monogamous person who wanted to try open themselves up to being poly I was accused of manipulating them into it and being selfish for not changing to be mono for them. Even though they kept explaining to people that they wanted it for themselves and it was their choice. People wouldn’t listen to him and now years later they tell us they admire our relationship and wish they had one like it.
There is nothing wrong with polyamory. It can be perfectly healthy and happy.
Nudism (or naturism) is seen by most as a strange and taboo fraction of modern culture, but when you really stop to think about it, living without clothes actually makes a lot of sense. Sure, there are a lot of issues with going nude, but if you can get past the creepy onlookers, then you’ll discover a life of ease and comfort. When you wake up in the morning and start to get ready for the day, the worst part very well may be standing in front of your closet deciding what to wear. If you’re not wearing any clothes, then the decision is pretty easy. Just roll out of bed, shower up, and head out the door. Just be aware that some people might not appreciate your (lack of) clothing choice.
Whether you’re a beach bum or are just looking to get a nice tan for the summer, the biggest thing you want to avoid is a bad tan line. Nothing’s worse than taking off your shirt to reveal a pale, white chest when you’re trying to impress someone. Obviously, if you’re in the nude then you don’t need to worry about tan lines . In this crazy world, most people have an unattainable image of what they believe their body should look like. This leads to a variety of problems, including eating disorders and poor self esteem. If you spend more time out of your clothes, you’ll get a lot more comfortable with what your body looks like . You can also take that to the next level by joining a group of nudists/naturists, which will also give your self-esteem a good boost.
Just take a second to think about how much laundry you do in a month. Now imagine having all of that free time back. Not wearing clothes sounds pretty good right about now doesn’t it? In addition to the time saved, you’ll also save money in these ways:
If you love going on vacation, you know how much packing sucks. Why not just leave your clothes behind and pack light instead? It’s a lot easier to bring a small duffel bag of supplies than a gigantic suitcase full of clothes on a trip. In addition, you’ll fly right through security since you can’t hide anything.

Everyone loves sand, but everyone hates getting sand in their clothes. If you wear clothes to the beach, you’ll be finding little grains of the stuff for weeks to come. Just take your trips to the beach without any clothes and you won’t have sand in your suit ever again!
Workout clothes are expensive, so what if you could avoid that expense and get a better workout? There’s a reason why the ancient Greeks used to exercise in the nude, and the same benefits hold true today. Without clothes, you have a truly full range of motion and your movements will not be restricted . This effect is most heavily noticed when you’re:
