Also I remember when ads came up really infrequently but now they’re huge static blocks that part the way between the few posts I stíll give a shit about, y'know.. the ones that aren’t just dreamy gifs of celebrities that tumblr hopes get noticed because they desperately need someone to say this site is still good. And if anyone thinks this is about no porn, yeah it kinda is, it’s what the site was known for and frequently used for, but that doesn’t even scratch the surface of it’s done; for instance sex workers are really struggling out here; their work is valid and should be protected.
