The 25-year-old former X-Factor judge made the admission as she appeared on trial for allegedly attacking celebrity blogger Savvas Morgan
Pop star Tulisa described the leaking of her online sex tape as "one of the worst times of her life" on Tuesday.
The singer and former X Factor judge was giving evidence in her trial where she’s accused of assaulting celebrity blogger Savvas Morgan.
During evidence the popstar said she had to put up with abuse on a weekly basis - but claims Mr Morgan went too far in allegedly helping to spread the sex tape involving her in March 2012.
Appearing in the in the witness box at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court under her real name, Tula Contostavlos, she said: "I was horrified. It was one of the worst times of my life.”
Recalling events, she continued: "I feel like some of the things he did were very mean. I didn't particularly like the person."
Tulisa denied punching Savvas, claiming the attack was was invented as part of a "vendetta by an obsessed stalker."
The former N-Dubz singer claimed Mr Morgan had made "unfounded and vicious allegations" as part of vendetta against her.
Tulisa told the court she had been watching Beyonce on the night of the alleged incident before inviting a group of friends - including British rapper Wretch 32, X Factor singer Alexandra Burke and former Sugababes singer Mutya Buena - back to her winnebago in the early hours.
She told the court Mr Morgan followed her towards the VIP campsite, claiming he has an "unusual obsession" with her.
She said: "I might have said 'your journey ends here'. I was calm and stating the facts.
Tulisa told the court when she challenged Mr Morgan he became "very aggressive and intimidating".
She added: "I did feel he could attack me at any moment because of his level of aggression. He seemed to be losing it."
The Young singer, who wore all black in the witness box, admitted swearing during the argument but strongly denied attacking Mr Morgan.
She told the court: "I could literally compare it to playground slanging match. I have not laid a finger on him.
"This is a combination of a publicity stunt and a vendetta from him.
"I can't believe it's been taken to this point and I'm standing here today."
Tulisa faces one charge of assault following the alleged attack at about 12.30am on August 18, last year.
She appeared in court alongside her personal assistant, Gareth Varey, 28, from London, who has pleaded not guilty to harassment of Mr Morgan.
On Monday the court heard how Tulisa had launched an “out-of-control” attack on Mr Morgan after accusing him of stalking her.
The pop star, who gave the same North London address as Varey to the court, faces up to six months in prison if found guilty at the end of the three-day trial.

Tulisa Contostavlos has finally addressed the rumours head on surrounding a sex tape allegedly featuring the X Factor judge which was leaked online this week.
In a heartbreakingly personal admission to her fans, the N-Dubz singer confirmed that it was indeed her seen performing a sex act on a man in the video.
And she spoke of her devastation at the betrayal by the former boyfriend she loved who broke her trust.
Tulisa said in a YouTube video she posted online: 'I've never been the type - regardless of being in the public eye - to sit down and keep my mouth shut about anything, especially when I've done nothing wrong.

The singer addressed the public without the support of handlers or her manager in a five-minute long monologue during which she blasted ex-love garage MC Justin 'Ultra' Edwards, who she blamed for the release of the video.
Holding up two pictures of the couple during their relationship, Tulisa says: 'Justin is someone who I was seeing from the age of 17 off and on for many years.
'I practically moved in with him, I loved him deeply, had a lot of respect for him, we talked about kids and marriage. I got my record label to give him a singles deal. '
'I never expected a scenario like this.'
The candid star reveals that the release of the video did not come as a huge surprise to her, after she learned of its existence last year.

'I can be honest - about six months ago I got calls from a lot of mutual friends telling me that he had this footage of me that was threatening to bring out for whatever reason - to make money or ruin my career,' she says.
'I confronted him and he lied about it, he completely denied it.
'Now here we are today, and the footage is now circulating online.
'As you can imagine, I'm devastated. I'm heartbroken, I've been in bits for the last few days.
'When you share an intimate moment with someone you love, that you care about and trust, you never imagine that at any point it will be shared with the rest of the UK or people around the world.
'It's a pretty tough time for me, but I don't feel I should be the one to take the heat for it.
'This is something he took upon himself to put the footage online, and now he's sitting in silence and pretending that it's not him on the tape when it is.

'I'm not going sit here and be violated or taken advantage of.
'It's out now, there is nothing I can do about it, but I felt I needed to tell my side of the story. '
Mr Edwards took to Twitter an hour after the video was posted, and wrote: 'I believe in silence being a sign of Integrity but in this case I guess I'll have to speak up and Lay out the facts and let you guys decide.'
He added this morning: 'To find the truth both sides of the story should be heard b4 passing judgement #thatisall.'
The day the sex tape was leaked, he tweeted: 'I didn't wanna say anything on the subject but I see peoples imagination running away.. it's nothing to do with me. #backtowork'

Tulisa's decision to speak out about the embarrassing video comes just two days after her legal team obtained an injunction preventing anyone using, publishing or communicating or disclosing to any other person... all or any part of the film.
Yesterday a spokesperson for the singer declined to comment on the matter as Miss Contostavlos deliberated over if, and how, to respond.
Her reaction was posted online on Wednesday night and tweeted to her 1.7million Twitter followers with the simple explanation: 'The truth about the tape.'
The 'tape' first appeared on a website available to download for £3.90 on Monday morning and caused a social media frenzy.
The six minute film, taken from a camera phone, shows a blonde performing a sex act.

A spokesman for the website which uploaded the video wrote on their Twitter page yesterday afternoon: 'So ummm... Tulisa’s lawyers just left our office after serving us a handwritten cease and desist notice.
'So basically we’ve had to take the video down.'
Tulisa's admission that she confronted her ex about the existence of the tape is at odds with her spokespersons' denial last year.
At the time, when it was reported that someone had asked the singer for £50,000 to prevent the video from leaking, her team said: 'This tape is 100 per cent fake and is just someone trying to cash in on her X Factor role.
'She is horrified that someone would go to the extreme lengths of fabricating a video. It is absolutely not her. Tulisa has categorically never allowed anyone to film her having sex.'

Tulisa's former lover turned the tables on the singer today, claiming it was her idea to make a sex tape, even implying it was filmed on her mobile phone.
Justin Edwards, whose stage name is MC Ultra, came out of hiding and broke his silence in a packed courtroo m over accusations he leaked the explicit footage.
In extraordinary scenes at London's High Court the 28-year-old denied he released the footage, saying it would have been 'ungentlemanly' and he had been 'brought up better than that'.

Edwards showed up to the court room dressed in a suit and aviator shades as he was flanked by security.
The N-Dubz star, who was not present in court, has started legal proceedings to sue her former beau over breach of privacy.
And she received a small triumph in the battle today as a judge ruled that an order banning the publication of the footage should continue.
But while she has managed to keep the distribution of the six-minute clip at bay for now, she faces more woes as Edwards opened up in court about the film.

He alleged it was Tulisa's idea to film the video in the first place and told the judge that Contostavlos had 'persuaded me that we should film ourselves' and 'seemed to be implying' that filming took place on the singer's phone.
Details of his defence to the singer's allegations were revealed at a preliminary court hearing today.
A judge was told they'd enjoyed an 'on and off relationship' which ended at the end of 2009.
The X Factor judge's lawyers made legal moves to seek an injunction rather quickly once news of the tape had spread.
The injunction prohibits anyone from using, publishing or communicating or disclosing to any other person... all or any part of the film.
And while Edwards has vehemently denied he leaked the footage, the 23-year-old N-Dubz star has also reportedly made moves to sue Edwards, whose stage name is MC Ultra, for sharing the footage.
