Overall for the price it worked really well. I learned allot about the processes as a result. The seals aren't the best and it's obviously not a top of the line piece. But better then just straight open blasting. Definitely recommend
Exactly what you think it is. Good to go. Extracts perfectly. No problems. Smooth inside the pipe.
Fits together well. Could use some instructions. My wife was watching me figure out how it went together and asked if I read the instructions. The other issue is the ball valves could be of better quality. Make sure the rubber grommets are seated in the groove or you will get leakage when under pressure.
ABLAZE has set the standard with there closed column extractors. I bought the kit for my own personal use 90g colunm is a nice size for this. I am not a professional when it comes to making scientific things so having this kit was crucial, it streamlined the process and made everything easier. The kit includes multiple screens (150 micron)and gaskets in case you lose or break one. The kit also includes ball valves for the closed column set up and separate attachments for the open blast. The tripod makes blasting a breeze, no longer will I have to hold a frozen pipe in my hand while trying to carefully spray combustible gas into a cylinder. The clamps and column are both extremely sturdy. As a bonus ABLAZE included a platinum cured silicon mat, this thing is great the hash doesn't stick to it at all. I am very satisfied with my purchase the quality and functionality well exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend ABLAZE Close Column Extractors to anyone in the market for this kind of kit they are hands down the best price you will find for the quality you get. On a side note I contacted ABLAZE about a products availability. They responded quickly answering my questions and they went well beyond the call of duty to help me fix a problem I had created because of my own stupidity. Thanks to ABLAZE for the help.
I bought this extractor to make my own wax. I've never done it before, but have a pretty good idea how. I wanted to know for sure, but this unit came with no instructions at all. An email to the support email address never got answered and all I got on Amazon answers was short answers that really did not help. My main concerns are that this deals with Butane, which is highly flammmable. I also want to make wax with a purity that doesn't contain traces of Butane. To do this, I need a vac pump and purge chamber. But you would never know this from buying the unit as there was no documentation included at all. And they don't answer their support phone. Physically, the extractor is very well built. This unit should last a long time. This unit would have gotten 5 stars if they had better support and documentation.
Takes too many hands to assemble the bottom clamp. Valves are difficult to control. There is a high risk of blowing your product to the four winds. They sent me the wrong sized tube: too small. I’m not the only one.
It works, does the thing it's supposed to and does it adequately.
This is a tool i should have had 30 years ago. And had i had it, i would still be using it today. It is well machined. It fits together easily and well. I have run 2 extractions through it so far. Once closed under vacuum, the second time was an open extraction. The weight difference was .2 gram. Since closed column extraction requires more equipment, i will be doing all of my extracting via open column. And this unit makes that easier than using a glass tube that requires you hold it. Easier than Any method i've used, actually. I cannot recommend that anyone else use this method to clean up after extracting, but i use Brakleen before washing with soap and water. Well made, convenient, easily cleaned, durable.....what more need be said?

The column may not stand straight once assembled. The wire used is very hard and difficult to bend.

Good product but customer service seems lacking
The unit seems pretty good, no real difference than the other one I bought from a more expensive company other than it was missing one of the protective plastic end caps (they come in handy when filling the tube,and the bottom release valve seemed really loose ..no big deal really , the only issue I have is with there "customer support", mine came with a sticker saying "message Inquiry@ablazecustom.com for a free gift" wich was awesome because I wanted to ask a fiew other questions about where I can purchase add ons, ie dewaxing column, sight glass etc, because there's a lot of stuff on Amazon but most of it says currently unavailable...when I emailed I got a one sentence response asking me what my order number was..that's it...I haven't heard back lol hahaha, they really don't seem to be to concerned about, customer service or repeat business,...but hey who knows maybe they were just having a bad day lol hahaha

DANGER INSPECT UNIT'S
I opened this brand new unit up and I don't know how this got through their inspection process, but it did not pass mine! This is a product that gets pressurized. Which means absolutely no defective parts should leave the ABLAZE shop.

Not a 90 gram tube .
The extractor is better quality then I thought it would be but unfortunately they are falsely advertising a 90 gram tube , it’s about half the size of a normal 90 gram tube . For that reason I gave it three stars . They need to change the product description .

Vacuum line connection
Comes as advertised.. Used it once before vacuum pump arrived. Also purchased the 1.5 gal pot. One star for vacuum hose fittings.. All you get is the barbed spigot for the vacuum chamber.. are these AN fittings. Is there a quick connect or upgraded hose... Do one can use both Ablaze products without the hose dilemma... Have to expect problem..

Ca marche tres bien.
Pas compliquer a utiliser. Fonctionne très bien a -37C aucun problème a garder sa pression négative durant plus de 3jours a des températures entre -25C et -40C Marche très bien pour des run direct sans macération.
