Although the exterior packaging was received with massive damage, so much so I effortlessly lifted the product box out without opening the shipping box further, the product had zero damage to it. The product box had minor yet significant damage. The shipping was not the fault of the manufacturer and instead FedEx. With that part said, the product itself is exceedingly sturdy and well machined. Precision at the highest caliber. Besides the amazing look, it is well crafted and sturdy. Although it is not yet installed, I can tell that this will work as designed. In the literature that comes with it, it gives a method for ordering new o-rings as well. That is an important aspect that I didn't expect. Eventually O-rings need replaced. Will order some spares. The weight of this is impressive. The glass is clear and without defect. Glad I didn't get a lesser product. Zero buyer's remorse. Bottom line, love it. Recommend bubble wrap inside shipping box, but it survived heavy abuse even though.

Upgraded from the 150 to this one. Love the look of these and no leak issues.

The HEATKILLER® Tube Series is a modular series of high end reservoirs with a glass tube made from borosilicate glass. It has some outstanding features which are listed here.
Thanks to a large filling mouth and a bayonet catch lid the HEATKILLER® Tube Series reservoirs can be opened without any tools and is easy to fill. It has never been easier to re-fill a cooling medium.
Borosilicate is a glass with very high chemical and thermic resistance. It is scratch-resistant and has very low heat expansion.
In designing the HEATKILLER® Tube Series, we took great care not to waste any of the available volume. That makes the HEATKILLER® Tube Series reservoirs very low maintenance, because they need fewer re-fills.
The exclusively developed anti-cyclone-inlay which is located at the bottom of the reservoir prevents vortices that easily form in reservoirs.
The pump adapter for D5 and DDC pumps comes with a streaming optimized pump chamber. This causes fewer vortices during use, which has a positive effect on both flow rate and air bleeding.
A multifunctional bracket mount offers options for vertical montage. Several adapters are available. Some can be used to attach the reservoir to 120x120mm or 140x140mm cooler slots.
HEATKILLER@ Tube Series reservoirs can be set in scene with LED illumination. We offer splash-safe LED strips in various colors. The strips are hidden in the struts of the reservoir cage.

Tyne page 308ff brings the details of history. Here the main points only:
The first tubes RCA is marketing in 1920 are the detector tube UV200 with argon gas filling and the UV201 Amplifier. Manufacturer was General Electric (GE). Both tubes are operated with a filament current of 1 ampere at 5 volts. Both have pear-shaped bulbs and are tipped. The base has a mantle of brass with a ceramic insert in which the pins are imbedded. Cunningham is naming his as C-300 and C-301.

In 1925 (Stokes, page 17) RCA replaces the UV200 with the UX200.

In May 1926 RCA announces the UX200A as a new detector tube, replacing the UX200. The UX200A contains caesium vapor instead of argon gas of the UV200 and UX200 to get a much more stable operation and increase of sensitivity. The UX200A has a thoriated filament but is still outdated and was not being used for new models, only as replacement for the UX200 (EE).

The type number UV200 was registered by RCA as a radio trade mark with the US Government on 6 th June 1922, being allocated no 155802.
