Joanna Jet (born in London , United Kingdom ) is a British adult film actress, model and director. Jet was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2015.

Jet, a transgender woman, made her first professional appearances in 2000 in the DVDs Transsexual Beauty Queens 15 and Shemales at the Hard Rock Cafe , both produced by Androgeny Productions. The following year, she underwent facial feminization surgery and also became a featured star for the top transsexual DVDs titles of the time from Androgeny, Evil Angel, Devil's films and Anabolic, she also started her own US based production company.

Jet had a production company called Altered States Productions which was based in the San Fernando Valley of California. After a series of travel visa difficulties with U.S. Customs and Immigration, Jet began working a VOD platform based in the United Kingdom. While working on this platform, she also produced a softcore release for Playboy TV UK. The release was titled Tranny and Susanna and was according to Jet the "first-ever softcore transsexual movie for cable, anywhere in the world" and was nominated for an AVN award in 2009. Starting in 2011, after resolving her travel visa issues, Jet began working in the United States again. [1]

As both a performer and a producer of transgender-themed pornography, she became an advocate for the acceptance of transgender performers by the mainstream adult industry and is recognized as influencing the addition of the "Transsexual Performer of the Year" category to the AVN awards in 2004.

I am older. I just turned 64 march 12th. I am overweight after chemotherapy. I am a romantic and love to kiss. I have to admit I don’t pass as I started my transition late in life. I am an open book and if nothing else I could use some friends as I literally have none. Until I came out I didn’t think I could be a friend unless I was honest about myself to myself first. I travel a lot and on the road a month at a time and then home just 4-5 days before I am on the road again. I have had a legal name change and ALL my documents changed to my new name and correct gender. Including my birth certificate and drivers license.
I have a hard time walking because I have a bone condition that is very painful. I just want to be honest about myself as how can anyone even start a friendship without being honest. Speaking of honest, I am married but she knows I like men but since I am transitioning we have become just friends at this point and are not intimate. She does not want to meet anyone I wind up meeting so please don’t ask if she joins in. She does not!!
With everything I wrote I am sure it will be hard to meet anyone but I had to give it a chance.
