I had the best experience completing my BLS course at the Heart2Heart Carlton location with Andrew. The location is easy to get to, the directions are exact and there is street parking available right outside. Heart2Heart kept the class sizes small (3 people) and has all COVID measures in place. They had one piece of equipment for each person, unlike classes I've attended with other companies in the past. I've taken this course about 6 times over the course of my academic/work career and this one was by far the best experience. I absolutely loved this class thanks to Andrew. Andrew was able to engage the class through discussions and by referencing personal experiences. He was knowledgeable, informative and encouraging. I will continue to renew my certificate with Heart2Heart and will seek to have Andrew as the course instructor. read more

Great covid19 measures including but not limited to: social distancing, limited number of students, mask and glove wearing is enforced, and cleaning/sterilization of all used equipment. AJ, the instructor is clear, nice, well educated, and made the course an amazing experience. Abbas was a pleasure to work with and a very dedicated TES (I know this review is about 3 years late, but well deserved). He provided me with very useful feedback on lesson plans and I learned a lot from working with him. I also liked how patient and helpful he was with the students during the course.

Just finished a standard first aid and CPR/AED session during Thursday and Friday with instructor arash. Could not recommend it more. They really came through with providing safety and sanitization during this pandemic while being able to teach the fundamentals properly. The class was very easy to follow and Arash went through everything clearly. I learned a lot of things from these sessions and recommend it to anyone who is looking to get their first aid. I attended the standard first aid and CPR level C workshop which was instructed by Arash. Since we are experiencing COVID-19, he sanitized everything again and again and made sure everyone was 6-feet apart. Arash was very friendly and responsible. He described every content in detail and used different scenarios to help better understanding. I learned a lot during these 2 days. Everyone in our workshop successfully passed the exam. I attended this interesting « Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED Level C » course instructed by Mr Arash Owrak. There are a number of advantages to this center i can recall:

1. The sanitization protocols were strictly practices due to COVID-19;
2. Arash appeared to be exceptionally humble, informative and helping. No need to mention not only was he really educated but also could transfer the crucial CPR knowledge to the students including me;
3. The room designed and allocated to our course was decent-sized and clean;
4. Arash made sure that EVERY SINGLE attendee learned the soft and hard skills regarding CPR and choking emergency responding and would exercise skills above one by one;
5. The admission at the very beginning of the course by Arash and Abbas was acceptable and the syllabus was fully covered in a timely manner;
6. We were all told that the certificate would be ready in a week or two, yet out of surprise I got that in my email just in less that 24hours.

In short, I would definitely recommend learning such life-saving skills in Heart 2 Heart amazing ambiance. read more

I came here to train and recertify as a Standard First Aider and later as an Instructor, and I have a had a great experience every time. Heart2Heart provides a safe environment in which to learn the skills you need, as well as excellent instructors and trainers with a variety of backgrounds and teaching styles. They helped me build and polish my skill set and I now also feel confident in being able to deliver First Aid knowledge to my own students and trainees in turn.
I've completed my Standard certification under Abbas at this location, a refresher with Maggie and the Instructor course with Stephanie and I was always impressed with the level of knowledge, experience and professionalism they each brought to their classrooms, while still being able to keep the courses fun and enjoyable with icebreakers, learner focused activities and strong class engagement.
I now have a solid base of Red Cross support as well as a network of fellow Instructors to work with and learn from, and I would highly recommend Heart2Heart for anyone. read more

I'd like to extend my deepest gratitude to my instructor Anthony for equipping me with the knowledge to increase another person's chances of survival in an emergency. Knowing that Anthony was a paramedic for 4 years gave me absolute confidence that the information he was teaching was tried, tested and true. Anthony went well beyond his calling as a instructor for a CPR certification class, going to much deeper lengths answering all of the class's questions about the science involved with the procedures of first aid as well as dispelling many common misconceptions about first aid, even going as far as correcting some extremely important facts that I had learned from a previous misinformed instructor. At this point in my life I'm persuading a job in private security but there was a point where I wanted to be a paramedic, Anthony has reignited my interest in medical science and given me a lot more to think about than I thought I was going to take from a what a thought was going to be a straight forward day.

Anthony if you're reading this you're really making the world a better and safer place brother, keep doing what you're doing. read more

After completing the Standard First Aid CPR-BLS 2 day course at Heart2Heart, I can say that my experience was amazing! My instructors, Debby and Anthony, were great. They were very clear when explaining things, they answered questions to the best of their knowledge, they made the class enjoyable, and above all, they were extremely kind and supportive. The administrative coordinators at Heart2Heart were very helpful as well in helping me change my registration to the right course after I originally registered for the wrong course. I 100% recommend going through Heart2Heart to obtain any certifications, as they have you leaving the course feeling confident in providing First Aid and/or CPR in case of an emergency where there is no one else to help. read more
