Donald Trump is considering helping Iranian opposition groups, including Kurdish forces, if they take up arms against Tehran, the WSJ writes.

He has already held talks with the leaders of Iraqi Kurdistan, Masoud Barzani and Bafel Talabani.

A decision on the supply of weapons or intelligence support has not yet been made.

Such a strategy could create a land front against the Iranian regime with the political support of the United States.
