Trump ‘flat out lying’ about negotiating with Iran - Rep. Himes
With the Strait of Hormuz blocked and oil prices now $112 a barrel, Trump realized that he has a “financial cataclysm” on his hands, says Democratic Rep. Jim Himes.
“So, he just made it up that they're in negotiations with the Iranians,” he insists.
“Look, the Iranians have now realized that they have the reins. They are controlling the Strait of Hormuz. Gasoline prices are up more than a dollar a gallon. And so, the Iranians realize, holy smokes, we've got a lot of leverage here.”
