Let that sink in. America is now blockading the strait it demanded Iran to unblock. The man literally joined the blockade he was raging against. Two carriers - USS Gerald Ford and USS Abraham Lincoln - already parked in the Persian Gulf, and now they're there to... enforce the very closure they were sent to end.

RBC reports Trump framed it as anti-extortion. Iran was charging ships up to $1 million per passage. Washington's answer? Block everybody. Including friendly tankers. Including Asian buyers. Including global supply chains.

Oil markets are shaking. The world watches. Donald promised a deal - got a bigger mess.
