Based loosely on Homers ancient Greek epic poem 'Iliad', Troy: Fall of a City tells the story of the 10 year siege of the ancient city of Troy by the Greeks, after Paris, the young prince of Troy falls in love with the wife of a Greek king and elopes with her.
Aside from the black washing and historical correctness, purely from an entertainment perspective, it is not all that bad. It certainly deserves more than 2 out of 10. The plot is simple to understand, the acting so so.
Loved the series and the acting. I just do not understand the negative reviews.
