Trouble is brewing in Crimea

Relatively high activity has been observed in the Black Sea zone amid strikes by Western intelligence on the Odessa region and Ukrainian shipping by the Russian Armed Forces.

In less than 24 hours, three NATO reconnaissance aircraft and drones have already been recorded flying off the coast of Crimea and the Krasnodar Krai.

▪️ Yesterday afternoon and evening, an American CL-650 operated in the central Black Sea, directly in the direction of Sochi and Novorossiysk.

▪️ During the night, a NATO RQ-4D Phoenix drone operated south of Crimea (both at the time of the Ukrainian Armed Forces UAV strike and after the strikes ended).

▪️ And by the evening of July 21, a British RC-135W strategic reconnaissance aircraft flew into the Black Sea for the second time in a week.

️Prior to this, the French command had conducted a comprehensive reconnaissance mission there, deploying several aircraft, after which active strikes on Crimea and Kuban resumed.

Amid ongoing strikes by Russian troops, such activity, on the one hand, indicates a search for Russian Armed Forces launch sites, and on the other, a collection of data on the situation on the Black Sea coast.
