The bad: I ordered this hotel mostly because it said it had a heated pool and because of the great location. On booking. I tried to check the webpage for information about prices but I could not find any. Then I said allright, what about the outside pool, can I just go and use that? Yes, I could. But there was a 3 euro fee for the rent of a towel.. Which is weird considered I literally got 6 towels in my room. Why would we need to rent a towel then? And also the gym is 6 euro So there is alot of hidden costs in this hotel that is not advertised anywhere. Another point I want to mention is that one evening I decided I wanted to order room service. I called and asked if they had some dinner or pizza or something As there were NO meny in the room I had no idea what they provided in the room service. I was asked back, why do you want dinner in your room? I was blown away by this question as it truly none of their buisness why I would like to eat food or dinner in my room. So I politely said no nevermind. And by the way they did not provide dinner to the rooms. She asked if I wanted a sandwich.. She said I can go down and eat dinner at the dinner time in the restaurant. Well the whole point of room service is lost then isnt it? Also the internet were jumping in and out and did not work well. It worked well the first day, but then it had alot of problems. I feel the hotel lost a bit of their '4 star' credibility by these episodes. But all in all I was happy with my. We found communicating with staff in English a little challenging but hey we are in a foreign country! Wish I could speak Italian is probably the Remedy! Overall the stay was pleasant.
