All Registration Fees (Membership Fees and OWP/WPC Fees) can be found on this page. Payment of Membership Fees is preferred by eTransfer due to lower costs incurred by the club.
The Triggerfish offer two categories of Membership Fees: Regular and Student . Student rate eligibility requires confirmation of enrollment in full-time studies be submitted to finance@triggerfishwaterpolo.ca .
Annual membership fees are as follows:
Regular (installments) - #1: $240, #2: $180, #3: $110
Student (installments) - #1: $170, #2: $130, #3: $93
To pay your registration please e-Transfer to finance@triggerfishwaterpolo.ca .
Financial Support : In order to support our commitment to participation by members of the LGBTQ+ community, we aim to provide services regardless of financial ability. If funds are preventing you from joining the Toronto Triggerfish, please speak with either the President, Vice-President, or Treasurer in confidence, or send an e-mail to finance @triggerfishwaterpolo.ca .
Membership Fees are non-refundable, however pro-rated fees may be considered if membership is accepted outside of scheduled intakes. All prices include Ontario HST where applicable
In addition to the Membership Fees outlined above, OWP/WPC registration is REQUIRED for each member in order to be allowed to play water polo. For this, each member will have to individually register and pay through the RAMP system, for which instructions can be found here .
The OWP/WPC fees consist of two parts, a portion payable to OWP and a potion payable to WPC. So, when you log in to the RAMP system and register, you will have two portions to pay. For example: If you register for the Competitive level, you pay WPC $60.00 and OWP $83.00 for $143 in total. There are NO refunds.
OWP & WPC offers different registration categories. Based on your level of participation, the club recommends registering under either Introduction, Community, Adult Recreation, or Competitive. Please read the following for more details:
Introduction ($22) – Select this category if you DO NOT intend to compete in ANY tournaments.
Community ($40) – Select this category if you wish to attend tournaments WITHIN Ontario ONLY (for instance PoloPalooza).
Adult Recreation ($68) – Select this category if you wish to attend tournaments WITHIN AND OUTSIDE of Ontario, but NOT internationally (e.g. the Montreal tournament).
Competitive ($143) - Select this level if you wish to attend tournaments IN AND OUT of Canada, (e.g. IGLA, EuroGames, Gay Games, or any US tournament).
Provincial ($123) – Includes OPL and Provincial Championships.
Affiliate ($0) - For members of an affiliate club, university students, no competition.
Each category provides coverage for the entire season (Sep 1 2021 up to Aug 31 2022).

Our usual pool facility (UofT’s Athletic Centre located at 55 Harbord St, Toronto) is a bit of a maze. Therefore, the following floor plans with routes towards the different pools and change rooms is provided below.
Entrance to the UofT Athletic Centre differs per practice night:
Tuesday/Thursday/Friday Practices: Use the Main Entrance on Harbord St (North side of Athletic Centre)
Sunday Practices: Use the Spadina Entrance on Spadina Av (West side of the Athletic Centre)
On the floor plans below, an overview is provided of walking routes towards the different pools and change rooms at the UofT Athletic Centre.
Instructions for reaching the Varsity or Benson Pool:
Varsity Pool: Enter via the Main Entrance on Harbord St (picture 1) and take the first door on your right (picture 2) to access the Varsity Pool Gallery (picture 3). This will take you past the Spadina Entrance (picture 4). Take the stairs down towards the Basement Level (picture 5). At the bottom of the stairs, choose to use the Spadina Change Rooms (gendered) on your left (picture 6), or take your shoes off and walk past the diving boards adjacent to the Varsity Pool (picture 7) towards the Family Change Room (gender-neutral) or the Main Change Rooms (gendered, picture 8). The Family Change Room also has a secondary entrance (picture 9, first door on the left).
Benson Pool : The route towards the Benson Pool is a bit of a maze. You will have to access the hallway towards the Benson Pool from the Varsity Pool deck (see picture 8 and 9), take the staircase up towards the main level (picture 10), after which you will have to make a few turns (picture 11) before you can enter the Benson Pool (picture 12). On the Main Floor, make sure to follow the blue signs. Right adjacent to the Benson Pool, an All-Gendered Change Room (gender- neutral) is available (picture 13).
The following change rooms are available at the UofT Athletic Centre:
Spadina Change Rooms (gendered): Located on Basement Level on West Side of Athletic Centre (picture 6).
Main Change Rooms (gendered): Located on Basement Level in the centre of the Athletic Centre (picture 8). These change rooms are unfortunately not always open to us, despite consistent efforts of the club.
Family Change Room (gender-neutral): Located on the Basement Level in the centre of the Athletic Centre (picture 8).
All-Gender Change Room (gender-neutral): Located on the Main Floor of the Athletic Centre, adjacent to the Benson Pool (picture 13).
