The children’s television show “Muppet Babies” reintroduced the beloved character Gonzo as a transgender princess.
In one episode, Miss Piggy and Summer Penguin said that they met an “amazing” princess at a “royal ball.” Miss Piggy referred to the “princess” using “they” pronouns. Per the Cinderella storyline, Miss Piggy showcased a glass slipper that was left at the royal ball.
Gonzo, who has historically been a male character, proceeded to take the slipper and transform into a princess. He dubbed himself “Gonzorella.” Gonzo told the other Muppets that he was afraid to tell them because they “expected [him] to look a certain way.”
I can’t believe I’m tweeting this but.. they are pushing the trans agenda on children via muppet babies. This is sick and PERVERTED. Everyone should be disturbed by predatory cartoons meant to usher children into gender dysphoria.
Bring back manly muppets, anyone? pic.twitter.com/kvoig0y9N5

Summer Penguin: There you are. You missed our Royal ball.
Miss Piggy: We met the most amazing princess but they ran away. And all they left behind was this.
Gonzo: Everyone, there’s something I need to tell you. The princess who came to your ball tonight was me.
Miss Piggy: But Gonzo, why didn’t you tell us?
Gonzo: Because you all expected me to look a certain way. I don’t want you to be upset with me.
The move to push transgender ideology on young children was condemned by many on the political right. The Daily Wire’s Candace Owens called the show’s messaging “sick and perverted.”
“I can’t believe I’m tweeting this but… they are pushing the trans agenda on children via muppet babies. This is sick and PERVERTED,” Owens tweeted . “Everyone should be disturbed by predatory cartoons meant to usher children into gender dysphoria. Bring back manly muppets, anyone?”
“Muppet Babies” joins a growing list of children’s television shows that are pushing an LGBTQ agenda. Per The Daily Wire’s Megan Basham , GLAAD — an LGBTQ advocacy group — has a Hollywood lobbying arm that pushes networks and studios to work LGBTQ characters into children’s productions.
Other shows that are pushing LGBTQ ideology include Arthur, Blues Clues, and My Little Pony. Blues Clues used “The ABC Song with Blue!” to push the ideology. When Blue sang the letter “P,” the puppy said, “P is full of pride.” The children’s cartoon proceeded to show the LGBTQ flag and other flags representing transgenderism, asexuality, pansexuality, intersexuality, and gender-fluidity.
My Little Pony also shocked parents when the show “outed” two of its characters. During the final episode of the 2019 season, the show revealed that two ponies were not just roommates, but romantically involved.
Nickelodeon, the children’s network, has gone so far as to debut videos featuring drag queens explaining the colors of the LGBTQ Pride flag. The Daily Wire reported that one video, “The Meaning of Pride,” dropped on Nickelodeon’s YouTube page and TikTok profile.
“First is a lesbian gator family, followed by a gay bear family; after them come non-binary dolphins, transgender beavers, as well as various other asexual, bisexual, and panesexual animals,” the Nickelodeon drag queen said.

My Little Pony Trans Pride Published: Jun 22, 2021
The Great and Powerful Trixie is celebrating trans pride. We may never know if she really is trans, however, it has become very popular in the Brony community since Lauren Faust initially depicted her as a stallion. Lauren originally wanted Trixie to be male, but in the end, decided to make "him" a "her" instead. DeviantArt - Discover The Largest Online Art Gallery and Community In my opinion, I think Trixie being transgender or transsexual would make her a very interesting character. If there are some who don't support the headcanon, that's okay. I made this in honor of the occasion, and I know there are Bronies who embrace Trans Trixie and would love this. Since this is still Pride Month this is in honor to all the trans Bronies on DeviantArt and to all transgenders and transsexuals throughout the world. You are who you are, whether you're a woman in a man's body or a man in a woman's body, and/or became who you were always meant to be, and don't let the world tell you that you cannot change your sex and gender. Take pride in being trans. Take pride in being you. If anyone is trans, give a shout out and express your pride. I'm sorry. I was terrible at that. If any of you have a better speech, please let me know. As an ally, I don't want to offend anyone. Now there's some more Pride pics to come. The next one might surprise you.

Transgender pride pony adoptable Published: Jan 11, 2015
Okay. I'm planning on doing adoptables based loosely on different gender/sexuality flags. The first one that came to mind was this one: The Transgender flag. If you want to adopt her, she's 100 , first come first serve. However, take note that if you do adopt her, I'd prefer you kept her as transgender, and that you didn't edit her design (You can make small edits e.g extra curls), however you can (and should) design her cutie mark. SHE WILL ONLY BE ON OFFER UNTIL THE 1ST OF FEBRUARY 2015 Others: Bisexual More to come. **EDIT** Although I've long abandoned this project, she's been adopted by

Honestly. I would pay 400 for both her and the Bisexual Pony, but I don't know if I can still get this one or the other.

Rainbow-filled children’s cartoon My Little Pony is embracing the rainbow flag just in time for pride. The show’s first lesbian couple will appear in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic later this month.
According to ComicsBeat , the series’ first same-sex couple , Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty, will make their onscreen debut in “The Last Crusade,” an episode from the ninth and final season of the animated show .
Fans of My Little Pony first met the two characters two years ago in a chapter book from the Ponyville Mysteries series, Mystery of the Rusty Horseshoe . Readers discovered that Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty had been looking after Scootaloo, the young Pegasus pony with a purple mane, while her parents were absent from the series. Fans were reassured that Scootaloo was being supervised while she adventured with her friends, but the relationship status between Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty was uncertain. Then, on Twitter, My Little Pony writer and producer Matthew Vogel set the record straight by declaring that Holiday and Lofty aren’t straight.
One Twitter user was still unsure. “Are they really lesbians in the actual book?” they asked. “Well they aren’t sisters so….” Vogel replied, then later gave the final word: “When I say ‘cute couple,’ I’m saying that Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty are a cute couple. Yes,” Vogel clarified.
Millennials might remember the original My Little Pony series from the 80s and, as 80s and 90s kids have grown up and become parents themselves, shows like My Little Pony have also grown to teach the inclusivity and tolerance that millennial parents want their own children to learn. For children of same-sex couples, Aunt Holiday and Auntie Lofty represent a family that looks like their own.
In the upcoming series finale of My Little Pony , Scootaloo and her fellow Cutie Mark Crusaders will say a bittersweet goodbye. Though it’ll be sad to see the ponies fly away, the show’s introduction of its first LGBTQ characters leaves us with a comforting message: Friendship and love are magic—and love always wins.
