Trans Village Project
AnonymizedWe plan to establish our eco-village in the Cascadia region (which includes Washington, Oregon, and California) due to its history of being a safe and inclusive area for Queer communities. The region's lush and diverse natural landscape offers an ideal environment for sustainable living that benefits both residents and the surrounding ecosystem.
While we develop permanent housing based on our architectural blueprints, we will welcome individuals with RVs, vehicles, and tents to reside on-site. In addition, we may offer short-term housing in village-provided campers for those needing immediate relocation.
Our building plans are rooted in the principles of permaculture and zero-waste design. We envision community gardens filled with edible, regionally native plants, fostering. Permanent structures will follow the monolithic dome model, constructed using sustainable materials such as mosscrete and hempcrete. Whenever possible, we will incorporate reclaimed materials throughout the building process to reduce waste and environmental impact.
In lieu of the current administration, we have been working behind the scenes to accomplish our goals. We are a grassroots organization that does not receive federal funding. We are working hard to ensure the safety and anonymity of those we serve.
We are funded by our collective of trans individuals, and those who support us. You can support us by donating through Venmo or Cashapp at @transhomingproject
If you are a transgender individual in the United States, we recommend that you make a switch to more secure social media and communications platforms. These can include: Proton Mail, Proton VPN, Signal Messenger, Telegram, Telegra.ph, Brave Browser, and Tor.
Better safe then sorry.
