For me… for Madalynne… offering transgender and non-binary lingerie is more than just reducing the bust curve on a bra or a bodysuit. It’s about recognizing how much these communities are marginalized, and raising visibility and acceptance for a person who is often devalued. To the person or the society who said girls wear pink and boys wear blue, women wear dresses, and men wear suits and ties, I challenge you. In a country where nearly 3% of teens are trans or gender-nonconforming, the fantasy that lingerie is only for women is unreal, unnecessary, and exclusionary. Do you want to wear dresses, skirts and heels? On the flip side, do you want to wear boxers or a suit? My goal is to offer lingerie that makes *people* feel beautiful because in my eyes, beauty isn’t about race, size, sexuality, hair color, skin color. It’s not about the clothes you wear or the make up you put on in the morning. A beautiful person is someone who is confident. People will judge no matter what you do, so might as well start doing what your heart is telling you <3 YOU DO YOU .
Modeling this Lawren bodysuit is Spencer Vincent Verdecchio . I found him through the hashtag #transphilly. I connected with his journey because many of his posts are about perseverance, hard work, and owning who you are. Five years ago, he began his journey from self hate to self love.

…take measurements as normal and cut the size the person measures. If the person as no bust/breasts, then reduce the bust curve to almost nothing. For Spencer’s Lawren bodysuit, I cut a size XL for the bodice (reducing the bust curve to almost a straight line) and a size medium for the panty. All construction and sewing were the same.

Wearing lingerie is a guaranteed way to feel feminine. Best of all, it’s something you can indulge in on a daily basis.
What are the lingerie pieces every trans woman or crossdresser should own?
I’ve compiled a list of 10 must-have transgender / crossdressing lingerie items that should be part of your mtf wardrobe. Read on to learn more!

Every girl needs a basic bra, so a simple nude or black bra is a must. If you’re having trouble finding your size, try the Leading Lady Lightly Padded Contour Underwire Bra . It comes in a wide range of sizes that would fit most crossdressers and transgender women. (Band sizes 36-54, cup sizes A-G)
For a flat and feminine look, a panty gaff is your best friend. A gaff is an undergarment designed to offer a smooth and tucked appearance. Here are a few options:
Who couldn’t benefit from a little mid-section slimming? A shaping camisole can help you slim down your waist and stomach without constricting you like a corset or girdle would. I like the camisoles from Yummie , which go up to a size 3x.
If you crave feminine curves (and who doesn’t?), padded panties offer an instant solution. Your options range from light lifting to full-on hip and butt shaping. Here are a few of my favorites:
While women don’t wear pantyhose as often as they used to, pantyhose looks more polished than bare skin and enhances the appearance of your legs. Your lingerie wardrobe should definitely include a pair of black and/or nude hose.
There’s nothing like slipping into a slinky nightgown to make you feel extra feminine. Whether you prefer long or short, you should own at least one silky nightie. Or better yet, buy a few in different lengths and colors.
Sometimes simple is best! Whether you prefer thongs, bikinis, or briefs, you should own at least a few basic panties.
While the basics are important, half the fun of lingerie is expressing your sensual side. That’s why no wardrobe is complete without at least one super sexy bra and panty set.
