Dexron is the correct juice for the T5, BUT, GM also makes a special tranny fluid for later manual shift Corvettes that is bullet proof and $$$. IIRC, $12/QT. Far superior to any Dexron. I have a T5 in the Voodoo truck that sees the drag strip pretty regularly. The guys I race with run Hondas that are 10 second machines.

He uses some magic Honda manual tranny juice that is amazing. Grinding shifts? No prob dood. I changed the juice in my 5 speed and ran this Honda manual tranny lube - it is MAGIC. You can only buy it at the Honda boys shop. Anyway, I also use Lucas stuff in this rig, I have not had any problems. Lucas can't hurt, I have had great luck with it.
I use the stuff on my 95 jeep grand cherokee with 208,000 miles on the clock and it keeps the tranny from slipping between 1st and 2nd. I'll swear by the stuff.
