Welcome to my blog! I use many names, and my pronouns are he/him or fae/faer! Anybody is welcome here, and I post a lot about disability, trans topics, and other things!

Part of trans advocacy is recognizing that a trans person might be wary of others, that they might come across as angry or sullen, that they might outright say "I will not trust you" and recognizing that they still are a person who needs rights. Part of this is fighting for their rights, anyway.
Part of trans advocacy is understanding that trans people who are like this have damned good reasons to be and even if you’re not like that or are trans yourself you should fight for their rights BECAUSE the way the world treats non-cis people is probably WHY they are like this.
There are angry, untrusting members of every marginalised group who have good reason to be like that and if you don’t understand that you might be one of the reasons why.
Also important to recognize is that because trans people (and other marginalized people too) are human, sometimes you WILL run into one who’s a huge jerk in ways that can’t be explained or justified by what they’ve been through, but even then you should still fight for their rights because human rights aren’t a reward for being a good person or a consolation prize for having been through a lot, they’re something everybody is entitled to no matter who they are or what they’ve done.
