As the summer solstice approaches, Trafikverket, Sweden's national road administration, has announced significant road closures for the upcoming national holiday weekend. The aim is to enhance safety and reduce traffic congestion during the peak travel period. Among the notable closures are several major highways, including parts of E4, E6, and E18, which are expected to be shut down for maintenance and repairs.

The E4, a crucial route connecting Stockholm and Gothenburg, will see sections closed between Uppsala and Linköping.
