Queues formed at the entrance to Moldova through the Palanka checkpoint. The Border Police reports a heavy influx of vehicles and a shift to an enhanced mode of operation to speed up paperwork.
Drivers who do not want to waste time are strongly advised to go through the nearby Tudora checkpoint — traffic is now freer there.
