Borderline Plus is a Toronto-based alternative boutique that specializes in clothing, jewelry, footwear, leatherwork, and other accessories since the 1980s. In the early 2000s, we have changed our name and location but our vision has always remained the same - offering the latest styles in gothic and alternative fashion.
There isn't a dedicated goth bar but most of the events seem to happen either at See-Scape or The Cat on Q. You'll find events posted on the Toronto Goth Facebook group, though for clarity you should know that you'll also find events there that mostly play industrial. The next specifically goth music event I know of is this one.

Depending on whom you ask, goth emerged from the U.K.'s postpunk scene in the late '70s, originally an arty, downcast music genre dominated by the likes of Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus and the Cure. Those bands' macabre interests and funereal style birthed a constantly evolving culture of music, parties, art, movies and literature.
Local punk/metal/goth scene are kinda all intertwined under a "punk" banner, but its a god damn amazing scene!
I figured that someone out there may get some nostalgia of one of Toronto's greatest goth clubs in a now long vanished subculture in a ever gentrified Toronto strip. The décor of the club was very much as shown in the small sampling of the photos was very cyber goth themed with a very HR Giger vibe.
