I've gotta say, this is my kind of protest right here.
There's a 28-year-old woman named Anna Lee Halderman from Norwalk, Connecticut. And last month, she was at a beach in Westport, Connecticut . . . and she was drunk and topless.
Someone called the cops on her, and Anna was so upset that she confronted the person . . . and protested by ALSO dropping her bathing suit BOTTOMS.
She ran off before the cops got there, but apparently this was worthy of a full investigation . . . because now, almost a month later, they've identified Anna and charged her with breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor.
She says she has no memory of any of it.
I can't believe these people were arrested. They should be given MEDALS for being what all of us should aspire to be when we're in our 80s.
The police in Fairfield, Connecticut made a bunch of arrests last week in an 87-acre field that's a notorious spot where strangers meet up to get-it-on.
And these weren't just any strangers. They were OLD strangers.
The cops made six arrests for people getting-it-on in the field. And their ages were 62, 62, 67, 75, 82, and 85.
The only woman in the bunch was the 85-year-old. And she has the same last name as the 82-year-old man, although we don't know if they're married. (Let's hope not brother and sister.)
Anyway, all of them were charged with breach of peace and some were also charged with public indecency. Free the Fairfield Six!
Here's a case of life imitating art . . . if you consider the work of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin to be art. WHICH I DO.
There's a 26-year-old guy named Coty Lee Havens in Fort Pierce, Florida. And on Saturday afternoon, he got into an argument with a 23-year-old woman named Chastity Bodnar over her drinking too much. It's not clear what their relationship is.
Anyway, according to what Coty told the cops, Chastity got upset, chugged two beers, crushed the cans, and then proceeded to, quote, "'Stone Cold' Steve Austin my a**."
If you're not familiar, Stone Cold used to chug two beers at a time after wrestling matches, then toss the cans to the side.
It's not clear how Chastity attacked Coty. So we don't know if she used Stone Cold's signature move . . . a kick to the gut followed by a neckbreaker called the Stone Cold Stunner.
Anyway, she was arrested for misdemeanor battery. Coty also wound up getting arrested after he fought with the cops who came to clear things up.
I don't know if this phrase has ever been uttered: But the flat-Earther here might NOT be the craziest person in this story . . .
A 36-year-old guy in New Zealand named Jamie Sutherland recently had dinner with a friend named Louie Lanz. They've known each other since elementary school.
And Louie kept going on about how the Earth isn't round . . . then said he'd bet Jamie TEN GRAND that it was flat. So Jamie took him up on it, because hey, free money.
Except Louie thinks all the proof about Earth being round is part of a massive conspiracy. So there was no way to convince him.
They ran into each other at a gas station later on. And Jamie told Louie he still owed him the $10,000. But Louie refused to pay. So Jamie lost it . . . and threatened to KILL him AND his father with a crossbow if he didn't pay him the money.
Louie called the cops, and they've been dealing with it since February. But on Monday, a judge dismissed all the charges. And no one has to pay the ten grand.
Overall, Louie might still be the crazier one though. Because in court, he claimed the Moon landings were faked, and that Albert Einstein was a plant by the government.
And he also got 80 hours of community service back in 2015 for joking he had a BOMB on an Air New Zealand flight.
This doesn't sound like the joyride this guy was hoping for.
A 59-year-old guy named John Davis went to a Walmart in St. Petersburg, Florida on Saturday night . . . and drunkenly drove off in one of their motorized shopping carts.
He lived 20 miles away in Palmetto, Florida, and apparently he was heading home. But about one mile into the drive, he got stuck . . . when the cart's BATTERY ran out.
The cops caught him at a convenience store trying to recharge it at a power outlet.
He was arrested for felony grand theft.
